Gojira did not disappoint. They performed amazingly, sounded great, and the set/stage show/lights were incredible. Do not pass up an opportunity to see them live.

Amazing performances from all 3 acts

    by Nicolas on 2023-08-21

Everyone was amazing. Lorna Shore sounded pretty much identical to the studio recordings, which is insane when you consider how technical their music is. I'm less familiar with Mastodon, but they sounded really good and I really enjoyed it, I will have to look into their discography a bit closer now. This wasn't my first time seeing Gojira, and they were stellar as always. Impeccable live band.

    Great place, with great bands.

    by Eric Thomas on 2023-08-21

Great place, with great bands. Only marred by a difference in sound quality between Mastodon and Gojira. Gojira was impeccable, Mastodon was a little less sound quality. I'm not talking here about the bands, both are wonderful. I'm talking about the quality of the mix, even sound engineering.

    They gonna suprise you

    by Morty B on 2023-08-19

I only knew one or two songs from Gojira and my friend highly recommended me to see them live. I really didn't expect what I am going to see. Their performance and visual effects was all perfect. If you are in heavy metal music this is a must see show. They gonna suprise you.

A must if they are in your town!

    by Storm Tera on 2022-07-19

So far, I seen them 3 times, and I can say their live show is evolving so much, and in a way that portraits their music very well! What a band. šŸ¤˜šŸ½

    Amazing live band, must see!

    by Tazz on 2020-03-10

I saw them in August 2019 drying knotfest and they blew me away, they are so tight live it's ridiculous. Especially Mario he's an absolute beast and a treat to see in person. One of the best metal bands of the 21st century, their music is just on another level

    Gorjia @ Rebel

by Merauder on 2016-10-23 Rebel (Formerly known as Sound Academy) - Toronto

The band was completely flawless, great performance!! The venue, while great in the renovations, it's never looked better or sounded better! The crowds in there are getting too rough, think I'll wait for acts to play at other venues in the future.

    EPIC!

by MetalMel on 2016-10-23 Rebel (Formerly known as Sound Academy) - Toronto

Gojira always puts on an amazing show, but they sounded and looked even more amazing in a venue like this (Rebel - formerly Sound Academy). Perfect size, great acoustics, stunning visuals and lighting... The revamped venue looks very cool, although the new floor was very slippery in the pit. The crowd was AWESOME! So much energy! As I had anticipated, it was a relatively 'young' crowd. I was pleasantly surprised at how few cell phones were up compared to most concerts these days. I really dig this venue and enjoy when my favourites band play there. Gojira is one not to miss and I will definitely be seeing them every time they come to town.

    Gojira is ridiculously good

by showmethemetal on 2013-01-19The Odeon Events Centre - Saskatoon

The Gojira show in Saskatoon blew me a away. Their albums easily place them among the best metal bands of the past 20 years or more. On stage, they are even better. The crowd was on the small side but it made up for it with energy and enthusiasm. Also, The Devin Townsend Project put on a great performance as the opening act.

Great line-up! Both bands kicked ass!

by glickplick on 2013-01-18The Garrick Centre - Winnipeg

Great show altogether. I'd never listened to Devin Townsend at all before the show but was highly impressed with his music. He's a true performer through and through and I will be putting his songs on my playlist very soon. He takes heavy metal and turns it on its head. Whether he comes back alone or with other bands, I'll be going to see him again for sure. Gojira was amazing; everything I was hoping for. Heavy, loud, technical. Just how I like it. Their drummer is incredible and had a wicked drum solo 2/3 of the way through the show. The guy is a machine. Not sure how he has that much stamina! Overall, highly recommended.

If anyone with any sense, and taste in heavy music gets the chance to see Gojira live, take it. You will not be sorry.

Bought the tickets for my boyfriend and we were there to see Devin Townsend. He put on a good show and made it very entertaining. Gojira was good too. Its not the kind of music I usually listen to but it did surprise me. I actually enjoyed myself more then I thought I would =D
