Gowan Tickets

Gowan is an amazing talented performer. He sings effortlessly and can also play the piano and guitar incredibly well. We were shocked at his ability to sing songs with such strength. It makes me wish I had paid more attention to him in the eighties!

what else is there to say? i have seen gowan do many times i cannot count, and every time its a show to remember. he is engaging, funny, with a greatband thatnever misses abeat.

We have seen Gowan many times over the years and he has always done such a good job of entertaining. This concert was no exception! His voice is unique and amazing and the venue was very intimate. I don't think there is a bad place to sit. We were up in the balcony but could see everything with no problem.

This was the second time seeing Gowan at this venue, and it was great. This is one of the best concert venues in Ontario. This time around I found the sound to be a little distorted, possibly because it was a little too loud. But he was very high energy with a good mix of songs.

Fantastic concert. Everybody had an amazing time ... except the tattooed guy who sat in the front who came in late. Oh well. Gowan gets better with age ... and an amazing set of musicians!!!

I didn't realize just how many hits Gowan had and I was shocked at how good he could play guitar. His keyboard skills are dynamite, but that guy can play a mean guitar. His band was excellent, most notably was the drummer and his fifteen minute solo. Gowans' voice is as strong as ever. I would go again in a heartbeat!

Show was great. I found the giant screen running animations and old videos behind the band to be a bit distracting, so I could have done without that. Musicians were awesome. I continue to love Gowan's rotating piano. Wicked drum solo by the drummer in the middle of the show. Was definately a great evening! Was missing some of Lawrence Gowan's old dance moves, but he is getting older.

Played the entire Strange Animal album from start to finish. Still some amazing music in that material. Lots of energy, a very strong backup band and lots of interaction with the audience made for a great performance.

Gowan's concerts have always been fantastic and he continues to entertain us thoroughly. We can dance, sing along and even meet friendly people from all over the world who are also at his concert just to enjoy. The reasonably priced tickets allow us to splurge on a hotel and meals. Just wish those under 19 could attend cause he has many fans under age.

The house lights dim, a message flashes on the screen, then a voice from out of the darkness..............the concert experience has begun. For two hours we are transported into Lawrence Gowan's world. A world filled with songs, merriment and pure joy. I was at friday evening's concert as well and both were fabulous. For this performance I brought along a friend who is familiar with Sir Larry's work with Styx but only really knew 2 of Gowan's solo songs. 3 songs into the night, he leaned over and told me how talented he thought Gowan was and how much he was enjoying the show. Afterward, he said for an evening filled with music he had never heard before, he truly enjoyed it. So, the strange animal has made a believer out of another!! Well done sir.

Gowan always delivers. Have seen him back in the day at Kingswood and Ontario Place, both solo and with Burton Cummings. Although he doesn't leap off his piano anymore the purity of his voice and the the energy he puts into a performance is still there. wonderful venue to see a concert. The only disappointment is that people didn't get up to dance at their seats

Went to the Saturday night show at the Fallsview Casino...I've never seen Larry in concert at all, in the day, or as singing for Styx. Very tight sound and great showman, very talented on keyboards and guitars!!

Amazing show! He played all of my favourite songs, and the sound and seating at the Avalon Ballroom were amazing!

This was the third time in a year that I have had the pleasure to watch Gowan in concert. The first was last year when he played the Avalon for the 25th anniversary of the Strange Animal album. The second was with Styx...also at the Avalon. The third time....was...how can I put it??? Awesome. The show was fabulous. Lawrence Gowan can rock!! He has an amazing voice and stage presence. He was backed up by an awesome band. The show was high energy and Lawrence often joked with the audience...who just loved it!!!

I completely loved this show. Great energy and Gowan was right on as usual. The new band gels really well together and produces a high energy song with great musicality. Keep up the great work!

It was good and he did play for a solid 2 hours however we like him better with Styx. They compliment one another. We were disappointed with our obstructed view" seats. We were not told this when we bought them.

absolutely incredible - what a perfomance - sounded just like back in the day - would recommend to anyone - best value for the money, almost 2 hours for like 50 bucks
