Grand Slam of Curling Tickets

Markin McPhail arena is perfect for this type of event. Volunteers are great. Curling teams are fantastic. But: - 5 draws are hard to watch all at once; I feel like I am always missing something. 4 is much more manageable. - SN needs to set up the same system as TSN where fans inside the facility can hear what both the teams and announcers are saying. There is nothing like being there live, however, it does lose some of its appeal without hearing the same things as a TV viewer does. I have heard from many curling fans that it is better to stay home for GSOC events because of this.

It was a great time and neat to see the different curlers out and about in the hotel and restaurants. Looking forward to the event next year when we will probably go for the whole week.

The venue for this event is excellent. Lots of good seats available. Could see and hear all of the curlers, and was fun to watch. The access to curlers for signing autographs was perfect. This was our second time at the GSOC and our group is already planning to go again next year. All the hotels were within a few minutes walking distance. Lots of restaurants close by and Loblaws was right there for the incidentals to take to the room. We went by train, took a cab to the hotel and walked everywhere else for the rest of the week. Can't wait for next year.

Great event; wonderful venue. Games were on time and certainly top players. Disappointing attendance especially compared to Continental Cup. Fan area great for those wanting to meet players and players were very accommodating to their fans. Great curling with several surprises! Venue: Wonderful central location not requiring a car (like Oshawa or Mississauga). Occasional live music on the second floor a bonus. The café was a great place between games, comfortable area to eat either their good food choices or bring your own. Great venue for not having bags searched and can bring in beverages and snacks. Staff very pleasant and welcoming. Good option for escalator or stairs.

So nice to get close to the action in Toronto! Highly recommended.

The Grand Slam of Curling was a great event, suitable for both long-time fans and new fans of the game.

Love this event. Mattamy Centre is the perfect venue for this well run event. Players readily meet and mingle with their fans and the curling is fantastic. Highly recommend.

Although the stands weren't full, the venue is a great for curling. We were really close to the action !!

We saw 3 days and they were all really great, can't match that final ever.

We had a great time in Pinty's watching Jeff play his last game. Sorry to see him go!

I'm a club curler, and to have this opportunity to see world class, Canadian and International curlers right in my backyard, FANTASTIC! This was my first time attending and I look forward to returning next year.

We follow curling on TV so, of course, wanted to see it in person when it was so close to us. We thoroughly enjoyed the event. Especially wanted to see Jeff Stoughton in his last event. It was all good.

Had a great time taking in 4 Grand Slam games from Wednesday to Friday! Loved the arena & very nostalgic for me being @ The old Maple Leaf Gardens! It was a great field on both mens & women's side & the players were so gracious giving autographs & allowing pictures! My Rob was so happy to have his picture taken with his favorite Jennifer Jones & many of the other players! Bring the event back here again, we would definitely return!!

Have immensely enjoyed the Grand Slam of Curling Players' Championship has been really great. The staff at Mattamy Centre have been awesome and it has been a blast being back at the old Maple Leaf Gardens again.

The event was very well run and put together. Also great curling all week and would buy a package for the next event in Summerside without hesitation!!

We'll worth the two hour drive for the one draw I watched. Some empty seats so could move around and watch at different angles. Also, for the side sheets could get close and get excellent pics. Hard to get pics of centre sheet though. Teams should have been set up at tables after the games so could get autographs since it is rare we get to see these curlers up close and not on TV. Great to have ladies and men's teams on the ice at the same time.
