What a wonderful concert experience! GBS talked, made jokes, and told stories in addition to playing a lot of songs. It felt like having several thousands friends gathered in the kitchen!
I went and only wish I had floor seats they were well worth it cant wait to see them again
Was super fun, was neat seeing the montage from old music videos in this anniversary show.
What a GREAT time! Just wished that the venue was smaller to truly appreciated the party atmosphere that these guys still radiate after 20 years! Nice to see a band still enjoying "what they do" after that many years together - you can tell that they're NOT just in it for the money... they really LOVE what they do!!!! Thanks guys for coming back to Prince George - we all appreciated your visit! :)
Such an amazing show! So glad we got tickets! They played for the full two hours and had litterally everyone out of there seats!
The band was great, the audience was great, acoustics at the arena, not so much!
I am a fan of GBS and was recommended the show by my sister. She had been the GBS show in Vancouver in the early part of 2013 and wanted to come anaing to the Prince George concert because she loved the first one so much! Was an amazinr night and I would absolutely drive anoth 8 hours to see them again.
Crossed that off my Bucket List but added "see GBS in Newfoundland" next time!
Great Big Sea put on an awesome show. As soon as they arrived on stage you could tell were having fun. They were very engaged with the crowd, even singing happy birthday to an audience member. The sound was good and the singing without instruments amazing. I would go to another show of their's in a heartbeat!!
A feel-good dance party experience led by the charismatic band members on the acoustically superb stage
I can't use the word wonderful enough. This group is outstanding, this is my first time seeing them live. GBS are full of life, and are very talented. The audience was on it's feet dancing the entire time. Every age group was represented, I'm in my 50's and have probably been to 75 concerts in my life time, this is among the best ever.
Great show! They are a little slower but their voices are still great
The first time I saw Great Big Sea in concert was at Metropolis. That was many years ago, I've seen them a few other times in Montreal. They always put their heart & soul into their music and sure know how to get the audience to participate. . However, on 13 April 2013 they put on one fantastic show! A great show to celebrate their XX years of music. The background videos were a wonderful addition to the show, especially the hockey video while singing Helmet Head. Great Big Sea is one of the greatest groups to come out of Newfoundland. This Newfoundlander is very proud of them and wish them continued success. Stay well and take care.
You fellas never fail to make your next concert even better than the last one. You are all so talented,your music inspires and uplifts us all. Good variety, liked how they mixed up the songs. Great to have some visuals and videos of the band's past. Showed up a little too late to get a seat, but it was nice to be up close all the same. The music quality was good and kept us shakin out on the floor.
The concert was great ! The band was incredible and they want to make sure that every fan has a great time at the show... We unfortunately did not get to enjoy the first part of the concert due to unruly drunk teenagers who were pushing and shoving. Security was not present and we made it due to good Samaritans who helped us at the front. I could not tell you what songs were sung before the intermission since I was busy trying not to get hit, pushed and spat on...LOL The second part of the concert was WAY more enjoyable! We were able to relax, sing and dance! I highly recommend everyone see a Great Big Sea concert once in their life! :) (Many times if you have the chance would be even better!!!)

One of the best concerts I've ever seen and I have been to quite a few. They were amazing! I never saw so many people jumping up and done at the same time. This was the second time I saw them and I look forward to seeing them again soon. Montreal loves you guys! To another great 20 years of success!
Great Big Sea were awesome! It is the second time I see them and I just can't get enough of them live, one of my top five best live acts EVER! This concert was super special too since I was with my husband and I am just over 9 weeks pregnant so our baby's first official concert was Great Big Sea! Just a perfect night!
! GBS concert was very Canadiana! The boys kept you moving and laughing at the same time. Video montage a nice touch to commemorate 20 yrs. Here's to 20 more:)
