Green Day redefined punk rock in a post-grunge world. Rising from the Bay Area punk scene in 1987, the band released several EPs before coalescing into their long-standing lineup of vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist Mike Dirnt, and drummer Tré Cool. The trio shared the independent album Kerplunk in 1991 before releasing their major label debut Dookie in 1994. Behind singles like “Longview,” “Basket Case” and “When I Come Around,” which each topped the Alternative Airplay chart, Dookie reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Dookie earned Green Day three Grammy nominations, including a win for Best Alternative Music Performance, and the album continues to stand as the band’s best-selling release with over 20 million copies sold worldwide. Green Day followed with 1995’s Insomniac and 1997’s Nimrod, with the latter boasting the band’s biggest creative shift with the rare acoustic single, “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life).” After 2000’s Warning, Green Day spent the next few years developing their first of several ambitious projects, the 2004 punk rock opera American Idiot. The album became Green Day’s first to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and it logged two Top 10 singles with “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” and “Wake Me Up When September Ends.” American Idiot garnered seven Grammy nominations and won two, including Best Rock Album. The band won the Best Rock Album Grammy again with 2009’s concept album 21st Century Breakdown. A stage adaptation of American Idiot debuted on Broadway in 2010 and won two Tony Awards and a Grammy for the cast recording. Furthermore, Green Day were first-ballot inductees to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015.

Green Day is my favourite band of alll time and this is my 3rd time seeing them play. They never disapoint but this was the best green day concert i've been to so far and the best concert i've ever seen in my life! billie is so interactive with the crowd which makes the experience for the audience so much more enjoyable and rememberable. i got to actually go on stage! that was probably the best moment of my life! everyone should see green day live at least once in their life
This was the best concert that I have EVER been to. I would highly recomend any Greenday concert. Billie Joe rocks like no other!!!!!
What can I say that hasn't been said before? Just an absolutely amazing show, by the best live performers in the game. If you have a chance to go to one concert, make this one it.
Three hours of fun!! Great audience interaction! !
Green Day puts on an amazing show yet again!! Took my 4 and 10 year old for their first concert!! The whole night was AWESOME!!
Green Day was an energetic, blood-pumping band. From the floor it was an amazing experience, with Mike and Billie running all over the stage, Jason ripping on his guitar, and a great view of Tre bashing his drums to a pulp.
This was my second Green Day concert and it again was incredible. There interaction with the audience is like non other I have ever seen, there energy, there excitment to be here putting on a show for us is great. This band literally played from 7:30pm all the way through to 11pm, they really give us what we are paying to see. I highly recommend you get to there next show when it is in town, I know I will be there.
I traveled a few provinces over to see Green Day for the second time and I would do it again. Its the best show Iv ever seen, I never had this much fun at a concert. This show was even better then last years show, and even then it was amazing. We were on our feet for the full 3 hour spectacle. High energy and full of life. It was amusing and exciting to see drummer Tre Cool sing a song, as well as bassist Mike Durnt be center stage. I am looking forward to Green Day returning to Canada again.
This has to be one of the best conerts I have ever been to. They were on stage for 3 hours.
what a great live band. they played for 3 hours almost non-stop.. stopping only for a minute or two before coming back for the encore. tight the whole time. started with newer songs for about an hour, then spent a good hour and a half on nothing but the old stuff, before ending with newer stuff. incredible energy. lots of crowd interaction. more than just a concert.. they make it a real show. still at the top of their game.
This was by far the best concert ever- 3 hours of the best music old and new!! The energy was out of this world and the mad talent shown when the audience could requesst their favs!! I'll see them every chance I get! Amazing!
Great performance. Easily the best crowd interaction I've seen from a band!
Probably the best concert I have ever seen!! They played for 3 straight hours! What energy. Loved it
The tribute to Rush by playing Tom Sawyer was a class act!! The rest of the show kicked major league ass.
The concert was amazing - extremely interactive with the fans, great set design and very good stage presence. I would recommend seeing Green Day, even if you aren't a fan. The show was well worth the price paid... seeing as they played for 3 hours straight. Great Show!
we went in bunches,,,you guys rocked,,,gotta luv ya,,,see you next time
OUTSTANDING! rocked for 3 hours. great show. best show of the year
Just one word -UNBELIEVABLE...well two words INCREDIBLE. Unbelievably incredible...Green Day ROCKED the house . The band gave their best last night and it showed, right from the opening song , to the last. AWESOME.! The best 70$ spent. My dad loved it too and he's a tough sell. Count me in next time their here.
I've been to 3 of their concerts and each one just seems to get 10x better every time! I can't believe they played for 3 hours straight without a single stop. By far the best show so far! So excited for the next tour to come around!
