About

Heart formed in Seattle, Washington in 1973 and have rocked on through the years under the sibling core of Ann and Nancy Wilson. The group has released 16 studio albums, hitting the Top 10 seven times and topping the Billboard 200 with 1985’s Heart. The band have sold nearly 35 million albums worldwide. Early rock staples such as “Crazy on You,” "Barracuda” and “Magic Man” gave way to greater mainstream success in the ’80s with the group’s first Hot 100 chart-toppers, "These Dreams" in 1986 and "Alone” in 1987. Despite developing their own solo careers after their first hiatus in 1995, the Wilson sisters have reunited as Heart several times. In 2013, Heart was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band have received four career Grammy nominations and received The Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023.

  • Heart rocks Ottawa

by Trevor on 2025-04-07Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

Heart was excellent in Ottawa. Cheap Trick opened and sounded really tight which I couldn’t say when I saw them last year. Heart had some new additions but they sounded great. Ann Wilson was injured prior to the tour and although in a wheelchair she sounded good. Nancy is ALWAYS fun to watch and the sisters spoke a little more than they have in the past. The Canadian Tire Center had excellent sound quality from where I sat on the floor. Great venue.

  • Excellent show by both groups

by Mike on 2025-04-07Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

Both Heart and Cheap Trick gave us an outstanding performance. I would have like Cheap Trick to play a longer since one hour seemed too short. Their cover of Fats Domino was excellent. The fun facts that Nancy Wilson shared with the crowd was very entertaining.

  • Great Experience.

It was great to see a couple Iconic Rock Bands come to Ottawa.

Heart was excellent!! Even with a broken elbow for Ann! The Wilson sisters ROCKED! Their band is tight!!

  • Loved it!

by SueBee on 2025-04-07Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

This was one of my bucketlist concerts to watch. My daughter bought me tickets for my birthday which was the day after the concert so best birthday ever! Heart was amazing. Nancy can still sing her heart out, pun intended! Ann is a great guitar player and still has a great voice too. Loved it!

  • Heart and Cheap Trick

by Jo on 2025-04-07Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed both bands. Great performance, they did not disappoint! The lights were spectacular as well.

  • Heart was great. Sound quality was not.

    by Patriot248 on 2025-04-07Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

Heart was great but the sound quality didn't seem quite right. Wasn't clear and there was a bit of distortion which negatively affected some of the songs.

  • Epic

by Maggie on 2025-04-07Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

This was epic!! What a tight band after all these years! Anne did an amazing great job with her vocals after all the set backs she faced!! These bands are the last of the greats we will see in our time!! 💯authentic!!

  • Simple and Good

by ValGal on 2025-04-07Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

Good show, the back ground never changed it was very simple. It would have been better if they had visual side display screens cameras could have done close ups of the band members and etc...we could only see what we seen from our seats. Overall is was good and their voices sounded great and playing was awesome.

  • Cheaptrick and Heart

by Old Couple on 2025-04-07Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

Both bands were awsome, music from my younger days.

  • So worth the wait!

by Mr Mutant on 2025-04-07Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

This was so worth my 3rd attempt to see Heart, and man was it worth the wait. Ann deserves so much credit performing even after hurting her elbow! Props!

  • Heart is always great!

by Liz on 2025-04-07Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

I did not love the opening act, Cheap Trick. I have never really been a fan of that group, I only recognized one song. Heart was very good, although I was surprised to learn that Ann Wilson would be in a wheelchair. It did not hamper her performance, however. It was hard to see the group as we were sitting in Section 226. It would have been better if their images had been projected on the jumbotron.

  • Positive

by Slapshot on 2025-04-07Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

Very good show considering the girls are definitely aging gracefully..

  • Great show

by Sarah on 2025-04-07Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

It was a great concert, one of the best I've been to.

  • Soundtrack of my youth

by Marlene on 2025-04-07Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

Nancy and Ann have still got it after all these years. Music was excellent. Took me back to my youth. Sound was really good. My only complaint is there was no jumbotron. Way up in the stands we could barely make out who was who on stage.

  • Missing a few hits

by Empty Heart on 2025-04-07Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 3 out of 5

Didn’t play some of their songs like all I want to do is make love to you. They went to an unplugged mode.

  • Sound was terrible

by Luc on 2025-04-07Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 1 out of 5

Le son était terrible. Ma pire expérience de spectacle depuis longtemps…

  • Chill vibe

by Kel on 2025-04-07Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

It was as usual, a fun rock concert with such a chill vibe.

  • Fantastic

by Linda on 2025-04-07Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

Wow what an fantadtic show. The band was great and Ann didn't disappoint. I grew up on Heart but had not seen them in concert. The sisters still rock! Thank you Heart for an awesome night out.

  • Amazing Talents

by OldGeezer on 2025-04-07Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

Evening opened with Cheap Trick. Not a real fan but enjoyed the performance. Their drummer was amazing. Instrumental volume overshadowed the vocal component. Heart, the Wilson sisters are a favourite and have been for many years. The older songs were obviously a crown favourite as could be judged by the audience response. Once again, I would have preferred that the instrumental volume could have been reduced to enhance to the vocal elements of their performance. An overall enjoyable evening, but my ears are still ringing.
