Honeymoon Suite Tickets

I don't know when they started letting people in but the line was very long. We missed the first few songs from the Spoons. The groups were all great, but there were major technical issues with microphones. When honeymoon suite came on their some was far too loud. Yes I'm in my 50's now but it was still too loud.

Great show! Love shows in here. Better sound, better & closer view than CTC in Kanata. However, you have to almost always sit in the middle sections because on the side sections, the view is constantly interrupted by people walking up and down the stairs to go get drinks, food or bathroom relief. Later in the evening, there were even several people that were quite inebriated and fell in the stairs. Because of the venue size, they should really adopt the same policy as the NAC - get drinks and foods at the breaks. Prices are as bad as other similar venues in Ottawa. And they ask for tips to open your can of beer! But the 80's show was an amazingly fun experience!!!

The four bangs were very entertaining. The sound quality was poor. The music was too loud in particular Honeymoon Suite.

Loved the Spoons, they still have the same voice they once did. Flock of Seagulls.....well so so Men Without Hats quite a show. So energetic Honeymoon Suite, what can I say, just Awesome! I love this band. Love the 80's. These guys never die!

overall this was a great and fun event. The transition between the 4 bands was almost seamless and no great delays. The sound quality was good except maybe HMS at end was a little loud for the size of the venue. Remember we are folks that were teens or in our twenties back in the 80s lol! All group/bands still provided great performances and have great energy and the quality of their voices and sound is still real ! If I had to picks my favorite of the evening it would be Men Without Hats , Ivan still go it !

I was excited about this concert from the moment i had purchased the tickets and it did not disappoint. Every song, sounded just like i remembered, the bands were on point. All my favorite songs were played, i danced, sang and just had the best time. How the bands still have that much zest is beyond me but im so thankful they did. The leader singer from men without hats - his energy was contagious!!! I truly hope they all return either another 80s tour or on their own. I would definitely be there.

Loved all groups except Flock of Seagulls. Sang so many familiar songs.

The band was absolutely fantastic. We Danced & sang the entire time the band was performing. Highly recommend going to their concert if you get an opportunity!!

The bands were good but the sound for Spoons and Honeymoon Suite was too loud and not mixed properly. The lead singers vocals were distorted. Men Without Hats was fabulous. The sound must have been fixed during the changeover. Ivan has incredible stage presence. Flock of Seagulls was good but I really didn't recognize much of their music, too much new material. Honeymoon Suite used a different sound system that wasn't adjusted properly, too loud and lead singers vocals were muffled. He was showing his age.

Honeymoon suite was great. Good solid songs. Flock of seagulls was horrible. I like the studio album but the live set was wrong. Men without hats was fun and good. Nice to see his niece as the next generation. Also loved their t-shirt and purchased one. Spoons was good.

Great show, all four bands still have it, rocked the house, particularly impressed with Men without Hats and Honeymoon Suite who rocked the closing. The venue is not that great for concerts for acoustics, but that was okay given how good the bands played.

Really enjoyed the line-up for the 80's club. The bands seem to play their music heavier than the 80's (my kids - who I didn't know wanted to come but found out Spoons were playing and asked to come) enjoyed that and were on the floor (I got a seat). I would have preferred a bit less heavy but maybe that's just the age. But overall a great show and glad I made it out on a Tuesday :)

We enjoyed the show. All the bands gave a good performance but Men Without Hats was our favourite. They were so energetic and fun! Honeymoon Suite was good but we thought the long musical interludes in between songs were overdone. Yes they are indeed very talented musicians but we really just wanted to hear the 80s hits. The seats in the venue (TD Place) were cramped and a bit uncomfortable.

FANTASTIC show! Had a blast relieving my childhood bands. You guys need to bring back more 80s bands.

I mean I’m old but they’re older and they still bring it! They never played a bad song. Hit after hit. Just what you want from an 80’s night out. Thoroughly enjoyed the show.

Honeymoon Suite were true professionals. They played with passion, and their arrangements of classic hits were brilliant. They are a band that remains relevant. They are Canadian icons for a reason.

Wow. They were great! Hadn’t seen them in twenty years but they put on a very high energy show! The keyboard Player was so talented - great sense of humor playing the Charlie Brown theme song during his solo! Great concert

The banda were great. The staff and crowds were awesome. 80s spirit and vibe in full swing. Spoons lead the charge and pumped us all up. Men Without Hats kept the surge and the Flock of Seagulls surprised us with new material along with their old classics. Honeymoo Suitw polished off a stellar night. The only letdown is the typically nothing special, overblown acoustics that drown out the finer (and finest) points of the music. Drums - rocking. Bass? AMPLE. The rest gets periodically washed away by the former.

TD Place is a good venue but the parking needs improvement! The sound quality was good but I found the seats quite tight to get in and out of! I would definitely attend again but I would choose my seats carefully!

Enjoyed all 4 groups as they all still enjoy doing it. Was a great time.
