    3 out of 4 Ain’t bad!

by KennyT on 2024-02-13OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino - Niagara Falls

3 out of 4 of the 80’s bands were in great form for their part of Saturdays performance. I won’t say which band wasn’t up to par but I’m sure they know who they are. Honeymoon Suite were absolutely incredible. Thoroughly enjoyed their performance.

    pleasantly thrilled !!

by doona on 2024-02-13OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino - Niagara Falls

so, last time i heard them, was, well, SO many years ago ... but this time....THIS time...they were awesome !! ... OLG is a great venue (kinda intimate), great sound, comfy seats. These boys ROCKED THE HOUSE !! ... left me yearning for more (which in this case, is a good thing ; ) ) Looking forward to our (the girlies) next road trip to follow (the boys) wherever they may be!

First time at Fallsview, great venue!

by Steve on 2024-02-13OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino - Niagara Falls

Honeymoon Suite, Aldo Nova, Men Without Hats, and the Spoons ... They were all great ! Sound was crisp and clean. Would definitely go to another show there. A VIP ticket with meet and greet would have been cool ... Most places are doing this.

    Last minute switch a mistake

by Mike and Jane on 2024-02-13OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino - Niagara Falls

The Spoons and Men Without Hats are a different genre of music than Honeymoon Suite. They were both fantastic, and Flock of Seagulls up next would have probably made this a 5 star review. Instead, Aldo Nova was put in as a last minute substitute for FOS, and not an equivalent one. It would have made more sense to let The Spoons play a longer set… the crowd was definitely there to see them.

HMS did not disappoint. They played a great show with lots of energy. They really showed they cared about their fans thanking everyone multiple times.

Wishing for Flock instead of Aldo Nova

by Radiogirl on 2024-02-13OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino - Niagara Falls

This event opened with the Spoons and Men Without Hats who were both fantastic. Flock of Seagulls was supposed to be on the bill but was replaced with Aldo Nova who were absolutely horrible. Could have done without them and the lead singers hairy man gut. Honeymoon Suite never disappoints in Niagara Falls. Venue awesome but music was overly LOUD!!!

Honeymoon Suite in Niagara Falls. Haven't seen them live in many years. And, they sounded terrific. They put on a great show. Will see them again. And, I'll be checking out the new album.

    Honeymoon Suite Rocked it!

by Dave on 2024-02-13OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino - Niagara Falls

3 out of the 4 bands where fantastic. Great start with the Spoons and some great hits, followed by Men without Hats, then disaster struck Aldo Nova put on a shitty performance, out of tone, shirtless old fat guy who was higher than he should have been, the entire audience was not pleased from the folks I talked to. Then Honeymoon suite came on and rocked the joint. Overall great concert minus 1 band.

    Great time. Great venue.

Had a fun evening. Only challenge for that venue is parking. Otherwise a great place to see concerts.

Honeymoon Suite Rock! The venue sound engineers didn’t.

by Eddie Buckskin on 2024-02-13OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino - Niagara Falls

Honeymoon Suite are the best band to come out of Canada from the 80’s. Love ‘em and I always have. I saw them play a Kawanas music festival in High School before they made it big and they have been great ever since. Love you guys, keep rockin! Killer drums, killer guitar, suite-lovin’ amazing vocals and bass and keys to die for. The OLG stage was cool, big beautiful clean comfortable venue. The sound engineers could use a lot more help getting things right to better represent the talent. Distorted, out of balance and rough throughout the evening.

Spoons and Men Without Hats! Wow!

by LAT on 2024-02-13OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino - Niagara Falls

Loves the bands and the audience was dancing and really getting into the wonderful music ! Unfortunately Aldo Nova came on and the audience lost interest and many from our area left, they were just horrible . I would easily come back to see Spoons and MWH and Honeymoon Suite ! It was tons of fun for the most part !

Good musicians just not the right ones for this show

by Lou on 2024-02-12The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

The Spoons and Men Without Hats were energetic, solid performers. The New Wave feel to both bands was clearly evident. Honeymoon Suite, are an excellent band musically. They have obviously been doing this for a long time and their performance reflects that. The problem was that Honeymoon Suite's music is very different from the previously mentioned bands. I bought these tickets so I could see a New Wave 80's show. Flock of Seagulls was supposed to be part of that. Instead a Canadian Arena rock band played. They are NOT New Wave.

    Could have been better

by Not impressed on 2024-02-12The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Way too many guitar rifts. Just play your hit songs. It also wouldn't hurt to talk a bit about the 80's in between songs. The Spoons and Men Without Hats did exactly that and the crowd loved it.

What a great time!! Honeymoon Suite sounded great, I was so impressed!!! Very evident that those guys love doing what they do. Hugely underrated band, I've know that ever since my high school days when they started. Big fan!!!!!!!!!!

They were ok, wouldn’t have gone n purpose, but it was something to do and they are talented musicians.

Honeymoon Suite, Men without Hats and Spoons

by HM on 2024-02-11The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

The Spoons were wonderful! Wish they could have played longer… Men without Hats were good, but had technical difficulties which were resolved and they completed their set. The transition between performances was not impressive. It seemed very disorganized. We originally wanted to see The Flock of Seagulls, but they were replaced by Honeymoon Suite. The lead electric guitarist was incredible… Johnnie Dee was a disappointment… his voice is still strong, but he aimlessly walked around the stage disappearing, then reappearing pulling the microphone cord along the stage. He seemed pissed off the entire time on stage. Perhaps his guitars weren’t tuned to his specifications… regardless… maybe he was high????… not sure… but wasn't impressed with him at all!! Would have loved for the Spoons to have been the main act… just saying!

    nice show

    by oldseve on 2023-08-18

The band tried real hard, lots of good songs and tunes, concert marred though by lousy sound technicans, guitars way too loud, vocals distorted because of volume, this is starting to happen at River Cree way too many times lately, get it fixed!
