Was a great night, but what gay wants to arrive to a party at 9 pm just to beat the coat check? Had a number of friends who waiting over an hour for coat check and then decide to ditch them upstairs. For $70+ a ticket and a nice venue as this is, you would think that this would be managed better.
Great music, we had amazing night. Only negative thing when we had standing in the line for a hour for coat check.
Not sure how the coat check can be so under prepared for an event happening in February. It's not like it's our first year in Canada experiencing winter.
Amazing venue, music/sound & bar staff… poorly handled security entrance and coat check, improve that and you will get 5 stars
The event / DJs themselves are incredible — but I paid $70 to wait in a 1+ hour coat check line when my group arrived at 9:58pm. Venue logistics were a disaster, venue staff weren’t around organizing coat check lines and it was one big mess. By the time we got to the dance floor it was 11:30pm (yes — 1.5 hours after arriving) and that’s when the event became awesome. Also to note — the venue’s coat check REACHED CAPACITY and hundreds of people were stuck leaving their winter coats in piles on the ground, or just holding them all night. Sorry, but for what they charge for this event the logistics should run MUCH smoother, especially at venues that host big name acts on the regular. As I mentioned, the music, lighting, atmosphere and DJs were all awesome… but the event logistics need serious retooling.
The venue made us wait over half an hour in an unorganized and unsafe feeling line for coat check. When we got to the front we were told that it was sold out. Really rough start to the experience. Music was fun but after getting screwed around and overcharged for drinks not a great event.
The vibes were immaculate for this one, they really bring it. Horse Meat Disco 🪩🫶🏽
The venue is beautiful and the DJ was fantastic. The experience was a nightmare … the line to get in too far too long. Metal detectors, pat downs, walk back through … another pat down. This is not that type of event where this is necessary. Once in the coast check line was insane, after waiting 20 mins a security guard told us we are not in the right line, there were two different line. They were extremely unorganized and not ready to handle an event at this size. This venue is not new and should have their staff prepared better to manage a line. After waiting 45 mins to check my coat they had run out of hangers. Offered to hang three coats on one hanger, I accepted, they still charged me for three. Get it together.
