    Bad sound but good tunes

by Sanddollar on 2017-07-11Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

Bad sound quality in section 103. Too many tributes to 2Pac an BIG. BizMarkie was not good. TLC was great. Naught By Nature played their two famous songs then wasted time. They played way to long. They should be given no more than 30 min (if that). Snap was great - very engaging

by SkinnyG on 2017-07-11Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

Had a fantastic time at this show. It turned into the whole crowd being a big dance party. Would recommend for anyone who wants a good throwback 90s show

    Bad 90's karaoke

by SmileyE on 2017-07-11Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

I was really disappointed with this concert. Half the bands only played one song or half of a song and not all members were present for each band. It sounded awful and it reminded me of a really bad nightclub with karaoke. We left before it was over. A waste of money and not happy about how much I paid for the show!!

    Time machine back to Grad

by bigsticky on 2017-07-11Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

Deceiving a little....no mark McGrath...snap and c and c were just performances by one time members known for 1-2 songs each. TLC made event worth the money for sure

Good concert but missing most headliners

    by Crystal1234 on 2017-07-11Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

I went in the I love the 90s website and it advertised TLC, blackstreet, all 4 one, and mark McGrath as headliners and only TLC showed up. The concert was good but I found it to be incredibly disappointing. To have 3 of 4 headliners show up is a huge difference to the line up and it wasn't the concert I bought a ticket for. I would say if you want to go to this concert or one like, don't get too excited about the lineup because you might not be getting what you thought you where.

    Disappointed

by Anonymous on 2017-07-11Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

It was awful. It was mostly really bad rap music and most of them didn't even sing they lip synced their songs. The only good music played was in between sets

    Definitely lacked energy

by CookdSarah on 2017-05-17Cross Insurance Center - Bangor

This was not neary as good as the 90's tour with Salt n Pepper.. was really disappointed with the lack of energy from the artists I also did not like that they didn't sing their songs in full... some of these artist only have two songs that are recognizable and then they try to improvise and do a re-spin on them and it just ruined it when you pay that much money to go see the artist playing your favorite song and they butcher it..it's very disappointing. Biz Markie was a disaster..it was so awkward to watch him ramble on stage, he was a hot mess. I loved Sisqo just wish he would have played a full legnth song. blackstreet was great! Loved that Naughty By Nature did a little tribute to Tupac and Biggie. I found that Kid and Play talked too much. Just shut up and play your 3 songs.. all in all, The show is definitely not worth $100 for the price I paid for the ticket

    disappointed

by MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE on 2017-04-25Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

I was disappointed by the sound. Not sure if it was the artists themselves or the acoustics and technical equipment of the artists. it made it difficult to make out the songs

    LOVED this Time Capsule!

by SexaR on 2017-04-25Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

I re-lived my late teens and early 20's era with this amazing old school concert. The crowd was super energetic and extremely well behaved and dancing throughout the whole entire night. I haven't felt so youthful and energetic from beginning to end, except for the time I went to see TLC. OMG I totally recommend it to anyone who loved the 90's. During each performances' end a DJ would come out for about 15mns and play all the old school 90's while each artist sang all their #1 hits for about 30mns each. The artists even did some renditions of the 80s like Beat It, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun & Sweet Child o' Mine to name a few :) and every single one of them did an amazing job. They brought fans on stage to dance with them about 4 times which was so jealous I didn't get picked but so glad others got to enjoy it. Most of us dressed up like the 90s and the staff at the arena were so helpful and friendly. LOVED IT!!! GO SEE IT!

by Anonymous on 2017-04-25Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

I was so disappointed with the concert . I realize it's not the 90s anymore and the bands are older but they just sounded terrible with the exception of All 4 One Rob Base was also pretty good . Color Me Badd was awful !!!!!!

    Save Your Money

by GSBa on 2017-04-25Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

I was really excited about this show but came away disappointed. For the first hour it was a sales pitch - Young MC promoting his new movie, the show telling us how many backstages passes there were to see x band, their hip hop cruise and on and on. Felt like I was at a timeshare presentation. Overall the show was long. Be prepared to sit for 3.5 hrs plus with many leaving as soon as Vanilla Ice did his weird version of Ice Ice Baby. People were there to hear you sing it the way they remembered it, not with some weird vocals and 50 of your closest paying friends up on stage. The other thing the group that I went with were wondering was why was he opening up bottle after bottle of water and throwing it in the crowd. Who in their right mind would want a bottle that you took a sip out of! Rob Base and SnP were probably the best acts out of the bunch and SnP should have been the closer. There is a follow-up to this show with another 90's tour show. I am glad I don't have tickets to it.

Drunks, promos, and too much filler

    by WD57 on 2017-04-25Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

I found the show had way too much filler. They just dragged it out and the artists were mediocre. The best performance of the show was All 4 One they did an incredible set.

    Dope Concert!

by onionface on 2017-04-23Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

Attending this concert was like going back in time. I loved the party atmosphere with DJ Capone spinning 90's tunes in between acts, loads of people wearing their best 90's outfits, everyone up & dancing for the entire 3 1/2 hours. All the acts were decent but Color Me Badd, All-4-One and Salt 'N' Pepa were incredible! If you get a chance to go to this concert you should def do it.

    by jennifer1482 on 2017-04-18MTS Centre - Winnipeg

My friend and I had an amazing time. We danced to 90's hits for 3 hours and Salt N Pepa were alone worth the price of admission

Brings back memories...too bad auto tune couldn't

by Tannermom on 2017-04-16MTS Centre - Winnipeg

All the bands paid tribute to the 90's singing there songs as well as other popular band's songs of that era. However, I'm not sure if it was age, or other toxins that have played a factor in how terrible some of them were live....COLOR ME BAD AND BIZ MARKIE to name a few. It was awful. I looked at my partner and said we paid how much to see them? They sounded like a teenager who is tone Def trying to sing good on a mic in their garage. Auto tune was obviously present in the 90's Wow. However, Salt n Pepa were the main act that everyone wanted to see and they preformed amazingly and I really didn't think I would ever see the day when I would be able to see them. ALL 4 ONE were great too!
