Up-and-coming rapper IamSu! has quickly become a critical darling with his next-level productions, nimble flow, and killer personal style. At his live shows Su -- an abbreviation of his first name Sudan -- often takes the stage with his hip hop crew The HBK Gang, trading verses with fellow wordsmiths Sage the Gemini and P-Lo on bounce-worthy cuts like "Only That Real" and "Ascension". With an impressive arsenal of eight mixtapes and one LP to draw from, IamSu! has more than enough bass-heavy bangers at the ready to get hands in the air and booties shaking at his must-see live shows.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Bay Area-born rapper IamSu!, aka Sudan Ahmeer Williams, was enthralled by hip hop from a young age, taking up several instruments in his early teens before learning to make beats in high school. In 2010 he released his debut mixtape Su! The Right Thing, an impressive first effort that led to collaborations with bigger artists like LoveRance and E-40. He followed up in 2012 and 2013 with a steady stream of mixtapes, collaborating with artists like Juvenile and Wiz Khalifa and earning praise from publications like Spin and Stereogum. In March 2013 he released the collaborative track "Gas Pedal" with Sage the Gemini, making his first Top 40 appearance on the Hot 100 before kicking off his first headlining tour. The ever-prolific Su dropped his highly anticipated debut album Sincerely Yours to much fanfare in 2014, burning up the charts with the hit single "Only That Real" and building excitement among ticket buyers for his upcoming tour dates.
