I never imagined that they would be better than the last time I saw them at then Scotiabank Place. The NAC was a more intimate setting and therefore more enjoyable.
Best yet!! My wife and I have seen them four times and all are fabulous shows. This one may have been the best yet. Singing and professionalism is perfect.
Most disappointing Il Divo concert so far. Been to see them 5 times including with Barbra Streisand and wasn't happy about the amount of time Leah or whatever her name was spent on the stage. I really wasn't that interested in her life story and although everyone is proud of her. I'm also very proud of my niece but didn't spend over two hundred dollars to listen to her. The guys are getting too silly about the flirting etc.
Had a great time listening to the Broadway music being sung by the talented group and Lea Salonga. The interaction between the group was great and the show was 2 hrs long. Highly recommend for Il Divo and Broadway fans.
Memorable songs from theatre. Beautiful voices. Would have liked a little more up-tempo stuff though. Otherwise, excellent.
A few words come to mind, Awesome, Amazing, Fantastic, Unprecedented, Wonderful. The Boys never fail to one-up themselves with each new performance. An excellent performance.
I am surprised that there was no decent foods / snacks. Even the wine was in a flimsy plastic cup. Very low quality when myself and many others are nicely dressed up ready for a special show, a classy event but the food and beverage service was no frills. Even allowing the patrons to proceed to their seats would reduce the congestion or bottleneck rush instead of staying in the lobby. The show was very good and the clarity of the musicians were fabulous.
We were treated to fabulous display of musical talent!
Il Divo was great as usual. This was my fourth time to see them but first time at Sony Centre and this was the best venue yet. Much better than at hockey arenas i.e. MTS Centre or Target Centre.
The production itself was very good. Not the best Il Divo we have seen but good. The major problem was the sound system. It was terrible.
They all sounded great on records but hearing them live was phenomenal!!!! I hope they come back to Toronto:)
Most enjoyable. Loved their connection to the audience. They were very thoughtful to mention Toronto several times during their performance. Makes us feel like they are truly happy being in Toronto. My biggest criticism is the absolute lack of respect by people using iphones to take videos and photos throughout the entire performance. Very distracting to the people around them every time the video and iphone bright lights came on. How can Sony deal with this situation?
Amazing songs and sense of humor just a musical show to remember
This was a fabulous night out. Music was fabulous as well as interactive and entertaining.
Loved every minute of it!! Loved singing along with them to all my favorite Broadway songs! They are still the best 10 years later!
Listening to Il Divo and Lea Salonga was an awesome experience!Exceptional talents! The entire concert blew me away and made me crave for more.It was a night to remember...forever!
The whole experience was awesome. The National Arts Centre is so much better than the Scotia Bank Place. The setting was so much more intimate and the acoustic incomparable to an arena. They are so much more personal on this tour and I especially appreciate each of them talking and sharing a bit of their background. I was very touched that they sang a French song for the Ottawa crowd. Thank you for introducing me to Lea Salonga. She has got a new fan. It was such a memorable night. Thank you Il Divo.
A show that captivated the audience for more than 2 hours. Il Divo - A Musical Affair was a superb performance. The voices of these four extremely gifted singers honoured the writers of these great Broadway hits through their performance. Bravo again and again.
Loved the music.. So many tunes , not enough time for more. It seemed like Il Divo was trying to outdo each other with volume at times and as a result, it would be off key.. there seems to be a tendency to scream somewhere in a song.. WHY?? Good music will always endure.. Would I go again, most definitely, but I would hope they would subdue their endings to give us a more blended harmony and not make it a competition
