  • HellYeah ruined it

by carignanboy on 2016-11-25Metropolis - MontrealRating: 3 out of 5

InFlames were fantastic. HellYeah was uncoordinated and the ex-druggie frontman kept babbling on, which probably was better than when they were playing. The sound was unpleasantly loud.

by Cobs on 2013-06-06Edmonton Event Centre - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

In Flames and Trivium were amazing. The sound was good, the bands played good, but there was a stupid and useless fan blocking the stage. This show would get 5 stars if it wasn't for that fan.

Enjoyed the show as always! Never miss In Flames when they come to town they are my favorite! I lost my voice the next day because I sang along with the whole show!

  • In Flames, All Shall Perish; just plain excellent

    by grimslider75 on 2013-03-01Guelph Concert Theatre - GuelphRating: 5 out of 5

I have never been to a concert of this size before, so this is a review from someone who has never been to a concert before, let alone a METAL gig. I caught All Shall Perish as they were setting up, and even though their set consisted of only 5 or more tracks, they, by far, delivered the best performance there that night, although the main even was In Flames, which as way more chaotic due to the rightly enthused fanbase present. Everything was great; the smoke, the sweat, the bassists riffing vibrating through the concert hall, and the VERY friendly bunch their in Guelph and I couldn't have asked for more.

  • pretty good show

by GloryInChaos on 2013-03-01Guelph Concert Theatre - GuelphRating: 4 out of 5

Battlecross played an amazing show - they sound better live than they do on their recorded album. Demon Hunter - great performance and it was their first time in Canada. In Flames.. You guys just sound so tired and worn out now but still put on a good show.

  • Incredible show

by TrulyMental on 2013-03-01Guelph Concert Theatre - GuelphRating: 5 out of 5

This show was amazing. Such a great line-up. From Battle Cross, to All Shall Perish, to Demon Hunter, to In Flames, every band came out and killed their sets and really put on a great show for the crowd. I was lucky enough to meet Bjorn from In Flames before the show, out at a local pub having a beer. The guys from Battlecross and All Shall Perish ended up heading down to their merch booths to sign autographs and meet the fans which was really a humble gesture from such great bands. I was lucky enough to speak with Hernan Eddie Hermida from All Shall Perish about his past projects and his future aspirations with ASP. Just a downright incredible experience, I've been to many concerts and this was by far my favourite.

  • Went to the show to see Demon Hunter (opening act)

by Anonymous on 2013-02-28The Garrick Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

Demon Hunter was the real reason I went to this show, and they were AWESOME!!! They only played 6 or so songs, but it was well worth the price. Didn't stay for in flames so I can't say how they were...

  • Good Show all around

by GabbyG on 2013-02-26The Odeon Events Centre - SaskatoonRating: 4 out of 5

Excellent show all around. In flames had a great light show, especially for being at the Odeon. The venue was very full and I'm thinking they could've played at Prairieland or a slightly bigger space. The microphones needed to be turned up - Big Time. I think they clued in during In Flames, but Demon Hunter really got the shaft and you could barely hear the lead vocals.

  • Getting better each time I see them.

by Bullet321 on 2013-02-26The Odeon Events Centre - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

Great night at the Odeon. In Flames came out with the best looking and sounding set that they have produced to date. Played lots off their new album and really made it pop. I think they really like Western Canada and it really showed. The backup bands were new to me and they all brought a lot of energy and excitement. Overall a rockin' good time!

The Odeon was packed and the crowd was nuts! In Flames was awesome!!! lml

  • 3rd time I've seen in flames. All bands were great

by BiGrEadFiErTRuK on 2013-02-24The Odeon Events Centre - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

Everything was great. In flames gets better every time I see them.

  • Demon hunter good, openers not so much.

by Rontimus on 2013-02-24The Odeon Events Centre - SaskatoonRating: 3 out of 5

I went for demon hunter (melodic metal), and so I'm not a big fan of constant screaming with no singing, so I wouldn't recommend the opening acts. DH's set was way too short, but I suppose I can't complain cuz they weren't the opener.

  • EPIC

by Ensiferum on 2012-02-19Sound Academy - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

So Far the best show I've seen in 2012, Crowd was amazing, bands were amazing... what else is there to say.

  • In Flames rocked!

by Britter on 2012-02-17Sound Academy - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

The stage was not that high up so all night I looked at the backs of peoples heads. I am not short either I am 5, 8. Probably wont go ther again due to this. I paid to watch them not to JUST listen to them :(

  • In Flames, Trivium, Veil of Maya, Kyng: perfection

by lilyer on 2012-02-16Sound Academy - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I have never been to a show where all the bands play overwhelmingly well. This was the first time where I enjoyed all the opening bands, and didn't have to just wait for the headliner. Unforgettable.

  • Trivium aaaand in flames, need I say more?

by Predator on 2012-02-16Sound Academy - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Incredible sound, stage presence, and atmosphere---- phenomenal!

  • In Flames we trust

by Anonymous on 2012-02-16Sound Academy - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The openers were all pretty awesome, very different performance styles but that made it great! Variety is always good. Kyng was crazy and the front man was hilarious, Veil of Maya got the crowd going wild, and Trivium was totally insane (yet still very gentlemanly haha). In Flames was just absolutely incredible - blew me away. Set list could have used some older material though, but nevertheless, they did not disappoint. Only downside was that the Sound Academy was playing Rap/R&B between openers. Like I said, variety is good, but it was a metal concert...

  • Valentines day bash

by Jessio on 2012-02-16Sound Academy - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Best way to burn valentines day! Trivium was great and In Flames just tore it up. Always a pleasure when they come to Canada!

  • Unforgettable

by Metalmanic on 2012-02-16Sound Academy - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

I loved the concert. 3 of my favorite bands in one concert was amazing. I would say though it would have been nice to have metal playing while they were setting up for the bands instead of the random crap they had playing.
