  • In Flames and Trivium were amazing!!!!

    by Cobber1648 on 2012-02-12Edmonton Event Centre - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Once In Flames and Trivium came on the stage everything went crazy. It was so fun. I am going to In Flames and Trivium again for sure. In Flames we Trust and Trivium We Die For!!!

  • Stellar performance from beginning to end.

I was there too late to see Kyng, so no comments there. I had never heard of Veil of Maya. But they were very energetic, played a good set, and will be getting more of a listen from me. The bassist played his 7 string bass and commanded stage presence well above that of the average bass player. Trivium played a great set with the exception of one song, caustic are the ties that bind, which was well below the level of talent those boys possess. Matt was sporting a mischievous grin, like he had just crop dusted his band mates, for most of their set. The bass player was wearing some god awful vest with a popped collar and was awkwardly moving out of the way of the others most of the time. In Flames were nothing short of amazing, as expected. They played a great set list that could have only been made better by adding satellites and astronauts. They worked well together on stage, only having to avoid colliding with each other while laughing a couple of times. Some of the breaks in between songs seemed a little too drawn out, but Anders kept talking to the crowd and having fun.

  • In Flames' best show ever?

by MetalTony on 2012-01-29Edmonton Event Centre - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Was it the best show in In Flames' career? I wouldn't know since I've only seen them four time but the singer, Anders Friden, certainly seemed to think so. He commented several times throughout the night how amazing the crowd was and even said it might've been the best show they've ever done. Was it standard audience compliments? It didn't seem like it. The setlist consisted mainly of songs from the latter half of their career with six coming from their latest album "Sounds of a Playground Fading". It was great to hear the newer songs but it was also a bit disappointing to have no songs from "The Jester Race" and only one song from "Whoracle", which are my favorite two albums. Regardless, the entire concert was energetic and the crowd was singing along the whole time. If you've never seen In Flames before, I suggest you pick up tickets fast when they come to your town. Most of the shows on this tour will sell out, and for good reason.

  • In Flames

by darby on 2012-01-29Edmonton Event Centre - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

Good show but it was short, there was no encore, and the sound quality not the greatest. Still awesome to see them live though.

  • Great show

All the bands put on the great show I can't wait to see them again

  • What a show

    by TCG5 on 2012-01-27Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

Waited a long time to see Trivium and it was worth it. Such a tight set, they killed it. Veil of Maya was pretty heavy and very good. Really got the crowd revved up. Seconf time ive seen In Flames and they didnt disapoint. Really play into the crown, involve people and really humble themselves. Very long set, and they were amazing!

Trivium was great, definitely enjoyed them and would go to see them again. In Flames would have been a lot better if they'd spent more time playing and less time talking. Kyng was a pleasant surprise.

  • In flames and killswitch were EPIC!!!!!

  • In Flames and Killswitch = love

by Goober on 2009-09-29Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Incredible show! High energy, clear sound, LOUD sound. Only downside was the amount of idiots in the mosh pit. 12 year olds should not be moshing. All the bands had such an incredible level of energy and put on an impressive, interactive show.

  • Unreal!

by PGJord on 2009-09-28Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

This show was amazing! totally worth the 10 hr. drive from PG! Even from the stands, but if you love to rock out, make sure to get floor tix as the stands can get pretty stifling really quick! Hope In Flames is comin back asap when they finish the new one!

  • Killswitch Engage was Amazing

by SagSnowBunny on 2009-09-23Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

I have seen Killswitch Engage 2 times in Vancouver! The last venue did not give the band the sounds quality that they needed! This this time it was awesome!

  • In Flames is amazing....Killswitch was bearable

by maidenlover on 2009-09-20Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Once again In Flames put on an amazing show. WOW Never before have I gone from liking a band to having little to no respect left for them...but Killswitch has done it. When they were playing they were great but the on stage antics were way over the top and proved that their music is sub-par. If you have that much time to goof around on stage, you obviously are playing some simple songs.

  • In Flames & Killswitch was amazing

    by lesbianpanda69 on 2009-09-19Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

I gotta admit My curse and Holy Diver were the 2 best moshing songs ever.... I couldnt really mosh to In Flames though cus I was at the front gate... I touched Anders hand twice!!! 2 of the best moments of my life!!!

  • In Flames and Killswitch, need I say more?

by Meridem on 2009-09-19Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing concert overall. Every band put on an awesome performance and rocked the crowd. Lighting and stage setups were also very well done.

  • Awesome show!

I have never seen Killswitch Engage live before so I had to go to this show, I have seen In Flames before and I know they are amazing live. Killswitch put on an awesome show, very energetic guys and funny too! The stage setup was pretty cool and they interacted with the audience alot which I thought was cool. In Flames were incredible, which I already knew from last time I saw them, they have an amazing stage presence and his voice is like no other! I would definitley reccomdend this show to anyone whos a fan of heavy metal!

  • SOLID SHOW!!

by Lassam on 2009-09-19Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

WOW!!... First time I could actually say I enjoyed ALL the bands on the bill... The show was GREAT, from beginning to end... only downside was a relatively short set by In Flames or at least it seemed that way... Can't wait to see these guys again!

  • Protest the Hero was amazing!

    by minx666 on 2009-09-19Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

I showed up at 7:30 and I just missed Between the Buried and Me I was so sad! Protest the Hero was awesome the sound quality was great, his voice is so beautiful! All the bands had great stage presence, In Flames looked like they were having the time of their lives.

  • In Flames + Killswitch = amazing

by Ktulu on 2009-09-18Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

The show was so amazing, killswitch destroyed and in flames finished it off. they played all the goods ones, so happy. ( i liked protest too, it was too bad they didnt meet n greet)

  • Killswitch Enage

by Shoelace on 2009-09-18Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Sept. 17th was not the first time i had seen killswitch enage. But it was the best time yet. the crowd was really into it and it was a lot of fun

  • good show

by avengeance on 2009-09-18Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

good show all bands performed well. worth the high ticket price if you like most of the bands. vocals could have been louder for all the bands since the music was slightly too loud and overpowered them.
