About

Incubus is a band that helped define the sound of a new millennium. That is most evident on Make Yourself (1999), which includes the melodic, turntable-scratching anthem “Pardon Me” and the emotionally evocative “Drive” — the latter marking the band’s biggest Billboard Hot 100 hit. After making their major-label debut with their second album S.C.I.E.N.C.E (1997) and touring for most of 1998 on Ozzfest, the Calabasas, California quintet released their 2001 album Morning View, which attracted a much more diverse audience. That album peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and featured songs like “Wish You Were Here” and “Nice To Know You.” PopMatters remarked that Incubus was one of the first bands on rock radio to “effectively integrate a DJ into their sound.”

    Atmosphere

by Nattio on 2009-07-31Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

The concert was incredible. incubus played an amazing show, they worked the crowd and had a lot of fun doing so. The atmosphere was captivating and energized. We were completely involved and we all sang along. It was a really good concert. It was my first time seeing them in concert and I totally recommend it to anyone who even remotely likes them to go and see them if they have a chance. I had soooo much fun

I like to check out bands that I'm really into, this being said, I've been to a lot of concerts. I've seen some wicked shows, but this was by far the best show I've ever been too! Even the energy from the crowd was incredible. If you ever get the opportunity to see Incubus, you have to do it! You will not be disappointed.

    Incubus was spectacular!!!

by MissCookieMonster on 2009-07-31Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

Hello All, The set list made my night!! I was so happy they played all the songs I knew and was able to sing along. I must say that the very last song they ended off with was probably not there most popular song or strongest performance, to max out the end of the night. They could have definitely amped it up a bit, nonetheless overall great performance. You know that not only are they great as artist but great performers, everyone around me in there seats were having the time of there life and looked so grateful to share this moment and enjoy there talent. Warm Regards, Miss Cookie Monster

    Wow

by Shlomi on 2009-07-31Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

It's was 19:10 when I was done work and leaving Pearson Airport. Hopped on the Bus then the subway and got home to pick up my bike. I biked as fast as I could to get to Molson. I got there sweaty and met my girlfriend who was doing the same thing just from her work place. It was all worth it so much! Best concert, best band and man Molson is an awesome venue! I love how it doesn't matter where you sit, you'll never be too far.

    This is What I Needed

by Heidi on 2009-07-31Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

I have loved this band for years and never had the opportunity to see them until last night. I still feel like I'm walking on clouds, because I was just utterly and wholely inspired by their performance lastnight. Brandon's vocals are truely fanatastic - he sounded exactly like he does on the cd, IF NOT BETTER! The band was rediculously good - I was watching their hands, movements - it was like watching a moment unfold in front of your eyes... The crowd was an AMAZING crowd (i bet typical for Incubus) and I just can't believe the amount of energy that came from lastnight... The diverse set and musical talent of this band was completely evident and I now know EXACTLY WHY this band has lasted as long as they have. I am truely 100% inspired and I am that much more inlove with this group & it's music... I will go again and again and again.

Incubus definitely stepped up to the plate!!!

by Hawaii on 2009-07-31Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

The last Incubus concert I saw was a few years back also at the Molson Ampitheatre. Brandon must have been having a bad day (or under the weather) because I didn't feel at all into the show. However, seeing Incubus last night has still left me day dreaming about how amazing they turned out. A must see live if you are an Incubus fan!!!

    incubus mellows

by prowlfan on 2009-07-31Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

the biggest surprise was the opening act going on before the 8 pm starting time (as listed on the ticket) i've never seen that before incubus are clearly getting older and mellower, which is ok by me they were still in fine musical/vocal form, but don't seem too interested in orchestrating the standard "rock show" dynamics and ritual the some selection and pacing had a lot to do with that, as they have a lot of mid paced songs these are nice to hear, but don't build "set intensity" from song to song I certainly didn't expect them to end with a Prince cover, but that shows where they are at, touring wise, I suppose overall, a nice night and a nice show, but they were more intense in their arena rock days...

    Incubus was so stellar!

    by jennimac957 on 2009-07-31Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

I love seeing these guys live! This was so much better than the last time they played the amphitheatre and they always do a great job. I really loved it when they played drive and dig..most of all I'm happy they played a certain shade of green. That seems to be a crowd pleaser for sure!

    INSANE

    by Elisa17 on 2009-07-31Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

Out of the 4 Incubus concerts I've been to, this was by far the best. They played for their true fans who have been following them for years, such as myself. They played CLASSICS!! They played from Science, Morning View, ACLM, Light Grenades, and finished with the perfect song from their new album. EPIC CONCERT!!!!

    Unbelievably awesome show

by tristanx on 2009-07-31Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

Acoustics were great, lighting was great, set was great. All the tracks sounded even better than their studio recordings. Brandon's voice was ridiculous, and all the other instruments sounded perfect. All in all, an awesome evening with a great view even despite being sat in the 400 section.

    Fantastic show

by Benj on 2009-07-31Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

Mostly a greaest hits show, opened with Pardon Me and rocked out on most leading singles. They slowed it down in the middle with a sit down that I think went a little too long but then smashed out Redefine and Certain Shade... which made up for it. Great mix of old and new and sounded great.
