About

Incubus is a band that helped define the sound of a new millennium. That is most evident on Make Yourself (1999), which includes the melodic, turntable-scratching anthem “Pardon Me” and the emotionally evocative “Drive” — the latter marking the band’s biggest Billboard Hot 100 hit. After making their major-label debut with their second album S.C.I.E.N.C.E (1997) and touring for most of 1998 on Ozzfest, the Calabasas, California quintet released their 2001 album Morning View, which attracted a much more diverse audience. That album peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and featured songs like “Wish You Were Here” and “Nice To Know You.” PopMatters remarked that Incubus was one of the first bands on rock radio to “effectively integrate a DJ into their sound.”

    just. plain. wicked.

by steaminator on 2009-07-31Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

This was my second time to see Incubus and I must say it was better than the first. I was lucky to obtain seats in the 100's so got to enjoy the band up close and personal. The performance, however, despite where you were seated was well coordinated, high energy, and overall pretty damned great! The set list was awesome, played all the faves, and the band really seemed to enjoy themselves as did everyone around me. What I like about their shows is they have a mix between hard and soft...Just when you think you can't take any more screaming around you, they play a mellow, calming song and everyone feels the vibe and relaxes. Not every band is so diverse with song styles so if you enjoy alternative rock, go see them next time, you won't regret it!

Absolutely amazing event. Amazing performance by the band. Setup and sound was really good. The zooming screens were small but I'd still say the concert was a great success :D

    Incubus was in

by Hydraulx on 2009-07-31Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

Great show! I would definetely rate it 9/10. Great light show but the one thing that i feel could've have improved was the sound. I feel the guitar could have been a little louder and clearer especially during the hard electric guitar songs (acoustic set sounded great!). Other than that, the show rocked!

Wow wow wow what an incredible concert!!! I saw incubus 10 years ago for my first convert ever and thought they were incredible then and somehow they are even better today. I was blown away by the amount of talent in that band. So much musical variety! Each song they played was amazing and after two hours they still had soo many great songs left. Icould have listened all night long!!!!!

    INCUBUS was amazing as always

by theburton on 2009-07-31Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

This band never fails to impress. They sound better live than on their recordings. They are full of energy and improvise to only make the songs sound even better. Brandon's voice is absolutely incredible. They play each song with enthusiasm and each song is very tight. If you are a huge fan, or someone who just knows the singles, you'll love them!

This was my second time seeing the band, and as usual, they didn't disappoint. I love those guys! They sound better live than they do on their records. I have to say that the opening band, The Duke Spirit, was awesome too!!

In our sick sad litle world this was definitely a bright moment, The atmosphere was outstanding thanks to the band . I felt I got my monies worth and that they actually enjoyed being on stage entertaining me. Brandon babe you are the best wish i could get ahold of whatever your taking because the energy you have is unbelievable! My only complaint was that the evening had to come to an end and what an end. You rocked Prince's "Lets Get Crazy" Thank you for the memories!!!

This was my fifth time seeing Incubus and it was just as good or better than every other time I have seen them. You put an amazing band, in a great venue in Detroit Rock City and you have one hell of a show! I had pavillion seats and was very happy with them! The sound was great, the lighting was great, the weather was great! It was absolutely freakin awesome! Bring them back again!!!!!

like usual the folks at 89x chose a sweet band for their annual birthday bash - incubus did not dissappoint. they put on a great show. performed tunes from throughout their discography. will more than like be going to see them again soon. dte as a venue is also awesome - great acoustics. the opening band, the duke spirit, wasn't bad either.

    ALMOST PERFECT

by rOCKjOCK on 2009-07-27DTE Energy Music Theatre - Clarkston

Great show, best live vocalist out there today in the newer generation of ive bands ! I can live without all those songs in the middle being un-plugged & played on acoustics .. good but not the same as the power of full stage. Great concert would go again ...the boys could lose that PRINCE song at the end of show .. you have too many of your own great tunes that we did not hear like oil & water ... keep rocking Jeff from Canada
