Just go, it's gonna be fantastic. Jack had the guitar skills of an all time great, a fantastic band, and when he's on stage carries himself with the persona charisma of L. Ron Hubbard. Will be back
The musical genius of Jack White did not disappoint. I could have listened to him all night. I highly recommend going to one his shows!
Five stars for Jack Jack White was amazing!!!!!!!!! 2 stars for venue That being said if this was a no phone show, this should have been communicated with the fans well beforehand. Sending an email the day of at 11 am-ish is Unacceptable!!!!! I get to the show not accounting for time to have my phone locked up so thats my first beef. Secondly i keep my bank card/credit cards Im my phone case. So when i walked to the concession/merch stands i had no way of paying with my cards locked up in a pouch. I understand that their are checkpoints we could have used to unlock our devices. However i didn't get the email until the morning of the concert so i didnt check since i work then met up with my party to head to the venue So a heads up would have been nice Also, cashless kinda sucked, but im sure that wasnt Jack Whites fault
Jack White is musical master! This was my 10th time seeing him, and he never disappoints. Could not stop dancing and singing along. You can see and feel how much he pours into each show. Cannot recommend enough to see this man in concert!!
We arrived there on time to see the opening act, July Talk. We were not familiar with them but they were great! We have seen Jack White a number of times both in the White Stripes and as a solo act. This was an awesome show. His back-up band was very strong. "Hotel Yorba" was our first dance at our wedding and we always love it when he rocks that. The encore brought the house down. What a fun night!
The show was amazing. Jack White was incredible. July Talk had so much energy. But the mix just sounded awful. Couldn’t really make out the vocals for July Talk which ruined that entire performance. It took me a while to identify which song was being played as it sounding incoherent. Jack White’s vocals were very harsh, painfully so at some points. The lower end of his voice was very unbalanced against the higher frequencies. At points where he would talk into the mic between songs with no other instruments playing, somehow his speech was only sometimes intelligible. Multiple rings of feedback occurred during Jack White’s performance. The bass guitar was just lost completely for both bands. No powerful bass like other shows. Very odd. Show was painfully loud in the 203 section. We were seated in line with the line array yet the sound was still very unclear. I would have imagined Jack White would have been quite disappointed if he could have heard his show from my seat. I loved the phone-free aspect. No one holding up their phones, everyone looking at the stage, everyone clapping. Very refreshing. I wish every concert was like that.
Jack White and his band did an awesome show best performance I’ve seen in a lifetime just wish I could hear him better standing in the pit at Budweiser. You can’t hear him talk and all noice and just echos. Feel like if it was at any other venue and you were standing in the pit it would sound much better. Won’t be wasting money next time on the pit if the sound quality is still bad. Love jack white tho he did great
What can you say about a truly creative artist/genius who constantly delivers, never disappoints and who’s name is Jack White. He really is one of a kind! As usual, his show Friday night was excellent! We’re very lucky fans! I always enjoy my time at Bud Stage, a beautiful outdoor setting with all the bells and whistles. However, improvements could be made to speed up exiting the venue after a show by opening more exits. It takes approximately 30 min. to reach the main/centre gates from your seat once the show ends due to the crush of people all leaving at the same time toward one exit! It creates a terrible bottleneck. Also, $22.00 + tip for one glass of local rose wine?? Really??
Show was amazing. Jack White never fails to impress, he's such an amazing musician and he clearly loves performing live, especially in Toronto. I wasnt crazy about having my phone locked up in a pouch and it made the wait times to leave the venue unnecessarily long as you had line up to have the pouch unlocked. Also, i felt bad for July Talk as their sound quality was terrible. Otherwise it was a great show.
