James Blake Tickets

best concert i’ve attended to date. the music, the lights, the atmosphere, the crowd. AMAZING. 12/10 !!!!

Really had the crowd by the balls that night. I went home with my girl afterwards and got more than lucky 🍀. In her words “he really knows how to put people in the mood”. 10/10 recommend what a fantastic artist that James Blake. A top lad, highly talented Voice of an angel.

We got there at 9 after doors were at 8, massive line to get in because security was holding it up intentionally to try and get 10 dollars out of people to “skip the line” in the freezing cold. Event was definitely oversold as there was barely any room to move in the venue (which friends tell me rebel is notorious for, selling entry at the door for 150$ without the artist knowing), the layout of the venue is where you can barely see the stage from the back which ruined the show. The speakers in the back of the venue were blown so it made all the bass sound terrible, also there’s 3 bars at the venue surrounding the audience pit so there was bartenders and bar backs trying to get through the crowd to refill their bars. And they were definitely over serving because there was a lot of drunk people being incredibly obnoxious speaking loudly to one another while James was preforming. Outside of all those factors James Blake did a 10/10 job with his performance, absolutely love the guy and his music, so much id even go to this absolute waste of space venue to see him.

James Blake is unreal. Amazing singer, no prerecorded sounds, overall excellent artist and performer. The missing star is only because Rebel nightclub might be the worst venue in Toronto. The bathrooms are on the sides of the stage, right by the bars, which makes them inaccessible. The VIP areas are also on the sides of the stage, and GA is funnelled into a very narrow space, making it impossible to go in and out of the crowd. If you left to use the washroom or go to the bar, you were not getting back to the spot that you were at. I wish there was a better venue to showcase amazing artists like James Blake.

EPIC SHOW BUT REBEL IS A LITERAL HELLSCAPE TO GET OUT OF.

The performance was amazing but during any heavy bass portion of the gig the entire ceiling of the venue vibrated to the point where you could hear the music over it. Rebel is not set up to host proper gigs, won’t be attending there again

The show was less trancey than i expected it to be despite all of PRIH’s beeps and boops. The three of them played a lot of well known stuff and sprinkled in a good amount of the new album. We danced, we laughed, we cried.

James Blake is an amazing artist and musician, I appreciate every single moment being there. I can suggest to the organisers to pay attention to the sound, it seems that it was not perfect. Anyway, this experience was fantastic!

Beautiful lighting Great sounds Great pacing and James Blake’s superb and poignant voice and piano playing. My heart and soul were touched.
