  • Jason's Tribute

    by Guitar1 on 2010-11-01Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

The show was flawless, the sound was incredible and they nailed every song. It was also emotional as Jason spoke about John when he was small. The show started right on time and the power was incredible.

Both of us being huge Led Zep fans, were unsure of how the night would unfold - how do you replicate Plant, Jones and Page ? The band was AMAZING, the setlist spawned 7 Zep LP's, and the players that were on bass, vocals and guitar were exceptional musicians (I am one as well). My wife and I LOVED the show and I've already highly recommeded it to our friends. Would go back a 2nd time to see the show again - excellent !!!!

  • Show Was Awesome!

by bchatsick on 2010-11-01Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I have been a Led Zeppelin fan for many years and still am. I never got to see them anywhere however have seen Robert Plant many times and will always see him when he comes.. To the point now.. I was amazed with the sound the rifs were spot on and Jasons Skills are well learned from his dad Bonzo.. They played nothing but good songs and when they did Moby Dick with Bonzo on the big screen playing along with him I got goose bumps! Everything about this performance was nothing but outstanding I closed my eyes and it was the Led Zeppelin concert I never got.. The singer was really good and he performed from the heart I could feel his love for Zep and he gave one hell of a show. Again for Keyboard playing your time is gonna come just blew me away.. And I might add the guitar Player WOOOOOOOOOW this guy might just be Jimmy Page in disguise? I loved his playing he rocked the place.. Im 48 yrs male and let me tell you I will see them anytime they want to return again and again ... If I can say one thing to you GO SEE IT :) I was disapointed about 1 thing...Getting tshirts at the Sony Centre was a nightmere! I never got anything to take home maybe they will make more booths available in the future shows? But not to knock them I love the Sony Centre for concerts the place is awesome also...

  • Bonham - The Emotional Experience!

by PrincessD on 2010-11-01Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Bonham - The Led Zeppelin Experience brought me to new heights the other night! If you closed your eyes you would swear you were listening to the original band. As Jason shared stories about the short time he had with his father, home videos of them playing together ran in the background along with home photos and vintage Zeppelin photos bringing me to a place in my heart that I'd never visited at a traditional "rock concert". When Jason played "with his father" (split screen with vintage footage of John), Bonzo Jr., never missed a beat. They never had the opportunity to do this in life and this was the first time Jason had done it before a live audience. Not only was the performance mesmerizing, it was extremely emotional and literally brought me to tears -- tears of joy that these two amazing men, drummers, a father and a son, got to engage in their passion of drumming together FINALLY and tears for the sheer beauty of the performance. I have been to far too many concerts of many musical genres and none has brought me to this level of emotion. Bravo to Jason Bonham for continuing his father's legacy and bringing this incredible show to the masses. From one hardcore Led Zeppelin fan, Mr. Bonham, please accept my sincere gratitude for your generosity of spirit in sharing this wonderful gift with us and thank you for setting an example for other artists by not only acknowledging each member of your band, but SHINING A LIGHT on EACH member of your band! You may have grown up without your father, Jason, but your mother did one hell of a job of raising a man of such talent, grace and generosity. Peace, love & long life to grasshoppers man!

  • Jason Bonham was on fire!!!

by Menrox on 2010-11-01Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

John Bonham is definitely smiling down on Jason. What an incredible performance. Jason can really play the skins. A chip off the old block. The lead singer really had a great feel for the music and performed the songs true to the originals. Awesome! The lead guitarist was absolutely phenominal. This was the next best thing to seeing Led Zepplin Live!

  • Missed By That Much

by Lonecrow on 2010-11-01Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Jason Bonham did a fairly credible job but their was always something missing. Some songs like Kashmeer were credible but the final encore song Whole Lotta Love was quite frankley embarrassing to watch. If you never saw the original band you might enjoy it but if you are a big fan pass on this one.

  • The Next Best Thing...

by scotgirl on 2010-11-01Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The show was awesome! Great musicians, fabulous old videos of Bonzo and a genuine heart-felt tribute by Jason. The vocalist was pretty impressive although not loud enough at times. Overall, a great Led Zeppelin "Experience"!

  • Incredible! JBLZE is absolutely incredible.

AMAZING sums it up pretty well. With almost three hours of a brilliant performance I would see it again and again if I could. Well done - all around.

  • Led Zeppelin Experience

by coffeemare on 2010-11-01Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

I really enjoyoyed it but even though I was in the last row, in the centre, I found it too loud. It was oviously an emotional night for Jason and it was good to see and hear his dad in the clips. Most of the set list was good. I would have liked to hear Whole Lotta Love.

  • Bonham Experience next best to watching his dad

  • Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience was awsome!

by ISeeAll on 2010-11-01Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This show was absolutely incredible from beginning to end. Jason Bonham presented an amazing glimpse into the life and experience he had with his father, the late John Bonham. The Led Zeppelin Experience totally blew me away and far exceeded any and all expectations. The video footage shown of both father & son was moving, funny, emotional and dazzling. Jason spoke to the audience several times during the show, and it was obvious that everything he said was sincere. He was a pleasure to listen to. It would be hard to pick a highlight of the show when there were so many of them. I guess for me, the summit was reached during "Moby Dick" when the screen showed both father and son playing the drum solo beat for beat transcending three generations and uniting for this epic and famed display of a true masterpiece. The band did an outstanding job of recreating the music of Led Zeppelin. The sound was second to none! The show was well worth seeing, and I would highly recommend it to anyone, especially a true Led Zeppelin fan.
