  • Best "Experience" ever

by KimWes on 2010-10-29Hamilton Place Theatre - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

This was an appropriately named event. You were hooked from the moment the lights went down. There was the perfect mix of nestalgia and rock. The musicians were all fantastic without exception. Jason couldn't have made better choices, and you could tell they all had a passion for thier music. The original band members should be proud of the "Experience" especially John. Couldn't have spent my money on a better concert, and it was over 2 1/2 hours long! thank you Jason

  • Jason gets the Led out!!

    by Buddman63 on 2010-10-29Hamilton Place Theatre - HamiltonRating: 4 out of 5

Jason Bonham pays the ultimate tribute to his late great father. Backed by an amazing group of musicians, Bonham has brought together what I believe to be the closest thing to Led Zeppelin, other than the original band, that any of us are going to have the great fortune of experiencing with this tour. The music was unbelievable, closing your eyes and just listening made you think it was, Robert, Jimmy, JP and Bonzo at their best. Way to go Jason, what a great way to honur your dad!!

  • Bonham Zeppelin experience

    by Solman69 on 2010-10-28MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

Not another cover concert, this was an absolutely unique experience. The musical talent in this show is amazing. If you were to close your eyes you would think you are at a Zeppelin concert. James Dylan was right on the notes, amazing voice! Tony Catania and Jason played their parts just as well. Very long set, great choice of songs, the closest thing to actual Zeppelin.

  • FRISSONS:Jason Bonham 's Led Zeppelin experience

by catsrules on 2010-10-25Métropolis - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

Goosebumps all over my body ! there was sooooooooooo much love at the Metropolis ! Still after a few days i cannot beleive what had happen that night ! I've been to probably 20 shows in the last 5 years and rarely i witnessed that kind of welcoming and a communication between the group and the public. I'm sure that Bozo , way up in the sky , is sooooooo proud of his son.....!!! Please can we have Jason back next week ?

  • For all drummers.

    by cbdr17 on 2010-10-25Métropolis - MontrealRating: 4 out of 5

Jason Bonham's Led Zep experience was a great show. BUT For you big fans don't expect to hear Led Zeppelin as they were live. ( 30mins Dazed and Confused jams and extensive stairway guitar solos) With a few exceptions this band plays Zeppelin STUDIO Style ..and they do a great job at that. The Singer sounded EXACLY like Plant on the records quite amazing actually. Close you're eyes and you will think Robert is right infront of you. For the drummers DO NOT expect Jason Bonham to be the same as his dad because he is not. Sometimes I tought he did a good job other times he jsut couldn't match the genius of his dad. Also he uses a lot of double pedals during every song INCLUDING the 16th note triplets of good times bad times. Another thing do not expect the same fills. With that said I'm glad I went to see this concert it was a lot of fun and it was probably the best Zep tribute out there.

well thought the show was awesome !! I have seen them all from michel white to kashmir & this is definately not a cover band, as close to zep as were ever going to see !! I would say it was 85- 90 % of the real thing as far as sound and the tightness of the band. go check it out you wont be diappointed..

  • hason bonham was exciting

  • Jason Bonham's Led Zep outstanding

by gryphn on 2010-10-25Métropolis - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

Far more than a tribute band, Jason Bobham's tour of the Led Zeppelin Experience combines a superb band with lots of cool video and special effects. Every ones favourite Zep song got played. The Montreal crowd loved them and the band truly rocked in response. You also can't beat a rock show in a small theatre ambiance like that of the Metropolis. Would see them again in a heartbeat.

  • Best LZ cover band ever

by blueyescan on 2010-10-25Métropolis - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

If you ever liked Led Zeppelin and you like live rock, it's a sin to miss this show. I stood for 3 hours at this show but didn't mind a bit . . . . it was worth it. This band must have worked hard to prepare for the tour. They are very polished and deliver 110 %. The John Bonham story as told by son Jason is a great visual backdrop for the 20 or so superbly played LZ hits. High lights are: Jason playing drums along with his dad on screen. He is a fantastic drummer in his own right. The virtuoso guitar played by Tony Catania. The bass playing was visceral. The lighting and visuals very effective. If this band comes within 50 miles of your town . . .GET YOUR TICKETS! It is Led Zeppelin reincarnated.

  • Honors the memory of John Bonham

by WineGeek on 2010-10-25Métropolis - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

A heart warming collection of old home movies and a walk down memory lane guided by Jason Bonham who honors the memory of his father by giving Montreal's hard core Zep fans an evening of beautifully reproduced covers. Close your eyes and you swear that you are hearing the unique voice of Robert Plant. Jason's rendition of Moby Dick with film clippings of John taken from the Song Remains the Same movie was touching. Show was ended by a rowdy enthusiastic round of appause and a few encore songs (and a few bars of Rush's Tom Sawyer as a gift to us Canadians). Overall a specacular and sincere tribute to one of Rock's premier drummers! Well worth the ticket price.

  • Jason Bonham-A touching tribute!

by BigMickey on 2010-10-25Métropolis - MontrealRating: 4 out of 5

A packed house of old rockers got to relive their youth with great reditions of Zeppelin's songs. A very appreciated crowd with Bonham being overwelmed with the enthusiam of the Metropolis crowd.

  • Jason Bonhams Led Zeppelin Experience Mindblowing

    by LB007 on 2010-10-25Métropolis - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

The only word that can come to my mind is mindblowing . Almost 3 hours of the hits from Led Zeppelin years. The hits included a duo of drums of his dad playing and a live rendition of Moby Dick. My Highlight s were Stairway to Heaven and Kashmir. The videos of Jason as a kid and those with his dad was priceless. The Metropolis was a sellout which was no surprise to me and saw how the band and Jason were humbled by the Montreal crowd. . Makes me want to pull out my copy of The Song Remains the Same and watch the magic of Led Zeppelin all over again

  • Back in Time with Jason Bonham

Great evening, I was taking back in the days of Led and brought my 17 year old son along.

  • Led Zeppelin Experience was AMAZING !!!

    by 572cobra on 2010-10-24MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

The band players were so close to the real band ! The lead guitarist even looked like Jimmy Page . They played a very good variety of Zeppelin songs and appeared to be having fun and at times the band seemed to be overwhelmed with the crowd reaction !! Everyone seemed to enjoy the , but it took at least till after half time that most everyone stood up to enjoy the songs !

  • A Zeppelin-worthy Experience

by Keaner4Life on 2010-10-24Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

I purchased these tickets not sure what to expect.... I knew going in that it would either be really good.... or really bad... I'm pleased to report that it was r e a l l y good. Sound at the 'Jube is always great, and the venue didn't fail to deliver once again. Sound was fantastic! Expectations for a great show going in would be very high, but Jason is a great talent in his own right, and brought together a group of equally talented musicians. (The guitar player was phenom!) It was great to see fans of all ages together to pay homage to one of the greatest rock bands of all time. Jason and crew rocked, they did Zeppelin, thier fans, and most of all John Bonham... proud.

The show was good but the sound was not too good. We had great seats on the floor, 10 rows back. There was so much bass distortion that it drowned out everything else. During songs that did not have a lot of bass, it was great.
