Rating: 5 out of 5 ELO's Triumphant Return!
by DoctorFever on 2018-08-21Scotiabank Arena - TorontoIncredible. Absolutely incredible. Brilliant stage show and probably the best sound mixing I've ever experienced at an arena concert. The set list was nothing but hit after hit and satisfied every ELO fan in the crowd. Mr. Lynne had a fine supporting cast and had the crowd in the palm of his hand.
Rating: 4 out of 5by Kattmlt on 2018-08-21Scotiabank Arena - Toronto The ELO concert was a blast from the past. It was a selection of their greatest hits. The only negative was after the opening act was done, ELO took to the stage an hour later (9:40). The audience was starting to get annoyed at the wait. They ended up playing for 90 minutes which included the encore (1 song).

by HeatherJackson on 2018-08-21Scotiabank Arena - TorontoI see a lot of concerts and was really looking forward to finally being able to see ELO. After 30 long years of waiting i was going to get to see one of the most innovative and creative bands from my teenage years. Honestly, I was kinda disappointed in the show. Don't get me wrong, Jeff and his incredibly talented back up group sounded perfect, just like on the cds (records/tapes) i have listened to over the years. They played most of the hits although there were a couple of surprising exceptions. A huge part of the live music experience for me is the exchange between performer and audience, other than mentioning it had been over 30 years and introducing some of the other performers I don't think Jeff spoke. The visual show had the same lighting as every other show and the lasers were cool but nothing extraordinary. The opening act (Dawes) was good, the lead singer was very talky and entertaining and their music kept the crowd entertained. The job they did warming up the crowd was kind of wasted by the long break between Dawes finishing and ELO starting. ELO played for 90 minutes including a one song encore and that was it. Most of the people around us were thrilled with the show so perhaps this show just paled in comparison to the Eagles show last month.

by Anonymous on 2018-08-21Scotiabank Arena - TorontoELO were fantastic, great lights, great venue. This was my wife's Christmas present and they did not dissapoint. Jeff doesn't look any different than when i saw him on Top of the Pops back in England in the 70's. He still has great voice and a great sound. Keep it up we will come back and see for sure.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Absolutley Fantastic!!
by MrE99 on 2018-08-21Scotiabank Arena - TorontoWhat a show - the sound was as good as any show I've seen in that arena. The stage set up and of course the fabulous musicians Jeff Lynne has with him now are top shelf. The audience was on their feet the whole time and it was one hit after another with a couple of deep cuts for the hard-core fans. He's one of the two remaining Traveling Wilbury's! I highly recommend this show.
Rating: 4 out of 5 9/10
by Smitherz on 2018-08-21Scotiabank Arena - TorontoChecked them off my list - was worth the 5 hour drive from Montreal - played them ALL , didn’t talk much . The Band was super tight , note for note .

Rating: 4 out of 5by Oreostallion on 2018-08-21Scotiabank Arena - Toronto Music, sound and light show were great. A bit annoying that the steep ticket price only bought me 95 minutes worth of music. Artists like Mr Lynne could learn a lesson from the likes of the Foo Fighters and Springsteen who never rip off their audiences.
