About

JERRY LEWIS LIVE:

Jerry Lewis is a comedic living legend with a long history of entertainment under his belt -- at 87 years old, the multitalented jokester takes the stage with the same vitality and charisma he possessed when he started over seven decades ago, sporting a classic black suit and a big grin. Whether he's performing animated stand-up routines, singing his hit "It All Depends on You," or sharing fond memories of yesteryear, Lewis proves he's an all-around entertainer, making audience members feel more like old friends than spectators. It's been over 70 years since he made his debut, but Lewis' humor and wit are still sharp as ever, and he'll have fans falling out of their seats on his latest tour.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Jerry Lewis has always had a knack for comedy, playing pranks on his neighbors at a young age and performing mime routines at 15. He launched his career in the late '40s, teaming up with Dean Martin for their comedy shows and earning a cult fan base along the way. During the '50s the duo achieved widespread success with live television appearances and their own comedic film series, but their newfound fame ultimately strained their friendship and led them to pursue solo careers. Since then, Lewis has acted in over  60 films, sung hit tracks like "Rock-A-Bye Your Baby With A Dixie Melody," performed in a number of Broadway musicals, and penned three novels.  Back on tour, the always-cheerful Lewis will have fans in amazement as he shares his many talents at his upcoming shows.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"At 87, Jerry is still sharp, funny, and full of love for his fans. The audience loved him and he loved being there!"

"It was so exciting for everyone in the audience to realize they were in a room with greatness. Jerry Lewis has and will always be THE undisputed king of comedy. Everyone else may come close but still pales in comparison...Jerry is still on top of his comedy and a true artist and humanitarian."

"It was fantastic to see Jerry Lewis grab laughs and roam through old memories. He's a national treasure."

    Surprisingly entertaining

I wasn't sure what to expect but I was delightfully surprised and entertained for an hour and a half. It was an honour to be in the presence of someone so legendary.

The show was good. It wasn't the best show I have been to. Jerry had some clips from movies he had done and a clip with Dean and Frank. There were songs that he sang and he did some jokes. The downfall of the evening was when he had a question and answer time and that took away from the night. People didn't ask great questions they just wanted autographs even though that was not what it was about.

Should Have Retired 20 Years Ago

The Good News & the Bad News: Well, at least now I can say that I've seen this incredible man live (although it might be stretching things to say so). I mean, how many entertainers have been rightfully nominated for a Nobel Prize? I'm pleased that I went. That said, Jerry's current act is far, far, far below contemporary standards - or any standards for that matter. He told a couple jokes, tried to sing a couple songs, and had us sit for an hour while he he gave flippant answers to idiotic questions from the audience. How many 'Jerry will you autograph my ***'s ' does it take before you are bored to tears? My advise: save your money and don't diminish your memories. Don't go!

    One of the remaining GREATS

It was a pleasure to see Jerry Lewis with his classic jokes and videos. He can still sing better than me. His age (86) is catching up to him and he is starting to slow down. I would recommend to all to see him at least once to enjoy the real comedy that doesn't exist any more.
