    Love Gaffigan

by Overfloater on 2012-07-26The Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater - Syracuse

This was my second time seeing Jim live and he did not disappoint. His take on all things from shower rituals to various types of food is hilarious. Would recommend his show to anyone who likes to laugh out loud.

Gaffigan = funny, too bad it wasn't a full show

by JL66 on 2012-07-23Hamilton Place Theatre - Hamilton

After watching his show on Netflicks, I was let down that he cut short all of the bits. He didn't do the full versions of anything - e.g., McDonalds, working out. His time on stage was about an hour. For the $, it should have been at least 90 minutes. He is one of my favourite comedians, and he was very funny, be it felt a bit like he was "phoning it in". There was no need for an opening act. I saw Danny Bhoy at Hamilton Place in March and he is not near as funny as Jim Gaffigan, but he did a fuller set and seemed to be giving it his all. Perhaps Jim was not pleased that it wasn't a sold out show, but don't take that out on the people who did pay to see him.

    Jim Gaffigan in Hamilton

by Oldyman on 2012-07-23Hamilton Place Theatre - Hamilton

I like that Jim's comedy is more family oriented ( ie: cleaner) than some of the other stuff I like...so I took my 2 pre-teens , who love his food jokes. The routine had some new material, but we had heard most of the show before. I found it odd that people went nuts for the Hot Pockets jokes....then again my kids were both hoping he would say them too. The opener was good, also kept it clean....glad some thought went into this decision. Nice venue, great seats, Jim veered from his set to make some regional references, which was cool....he is funny, I would go to another Gaffigan set if I knew he was doing more new jokes.

The opening act for Jim as weak. This would be my one "complaint". i would have expected a stronger act than what he had for a guy of his calibre.

    Unexpectedly funnier!

by KatYo on 2012-07-22Hamilton Place Theatre - Hamilton

I was expecting to laugh but not as hard as I did. I've watched Jim in various Just For Laughs segments and on My Boys so I knew he was good. Just didn't realize he'd be great. Awesome show. Perhaps a tad short though.

Opener was so-so and had a short set. Then Gaffigan knocked it out of the park.

    Pretty funny show

by MikeyLo on 2012-07-22Hamilton Place Theatre - Hamilton

Great show. His opening guest was a pretty funny guy. The show was only an hour and a half total. Kind of short for $55.00/ seat.

Funny, but 50% same as his last special

by Chris15 on 2012-07-22Hamilton Place Theatre - Hamilton

Funny show, but content was at least 50% of the Mr. Universe special, word for word, with actions and "adlibs". I watched it on netfilx the night before, not expecting a special with a completely different title to have the same content as this tour. I didn't expect a comedian to put out a special, then tour with the same script, its just a recipie for disapointment. That's just too bad, Jim's a funny guy.

One of the funniest contemporary comedians. Somehow kept me laughing the entire show. If you haven't already done so, you gotta see this guy.

Gaffigan about to Jump the Shark.

by tancook on 2012-07-22Hamilton Place Theatre - Hamilton

He is a very funny guy who is cashing in on his popularity right now. He is comes dangerously close to "maxing" out his appeal. It's all starting to sound the same to me. I like him but he is in dire need of some new material.

    jim in toronto

by sherwinn on 2012-01-24Massey Hall - Toronto

Incredibly funny, laughed constantly, all-new material and relatable. He is able to keep everyone laughing with joke after joke. I can really relate to his humour and outlook on the crazy things we deal with in life. Clean and funny. The audience was very mixed in age range and it looked sold out. Thanks for coming to Toronto Jim. Worth every dollar.

Jim Gaffigan was made for stand up

by imaveggie on 2012-01-24Massey Hall - Toronto

I absolutely LOVE Jim Gaffigan and hope that he will return to Toronto to do more shows. His comedy is simple and hilarious, and I love his little side voices, which at times makes the jokes even funnier then just the jokes themselves!! Went with a group of 6, and we all laughed our butts off!! Can't wait to see him again :)

    Funny while it lasted

    by funnygirl1234 on 2012-01-23Massey Hall - Toronto

Gim Gaffigan is hilarious. Only beef with the show is that he went on at 8pm and the show was over by 9pm. I figured there would be more time between doors opening and the main act, so I missed the beginning of his set. Record timing for this show...a bit disappointing!

Jim Gaffigan is a great entertainer

    by torontonian19 on 2012-01-23Massey Hall - Toronto

If you like food, avoiding exercise, and general silliness, Jim Gaffigan will keep you laughing all night. He stayed on stage for at least an hour and the laughs hardly stopped. A real crowd pleaser.

    Gaffigan was hilarious!

by Anonymous on 2012-01-23Massey Hall - Toronto

Jim Gaffigan never disappoints with his comedy and seeing a show with all new material was awesome. He played into the crowd at some points, which was awesome, and he really seemed to be on his game! Definitely a show I would pay to see again!
