First time seeing Jimmy live. As awesome as expected !
Great show! Went on for around 2 hours, Jimmy Carr is as good as ever. Lots of crowd work, lots of his signature dark material.
I'm not a cringelord teeny bopper anymore. Jimmy Carr hasn't added enough new jokes and the old jokes are just barely funny enough to be worth a 20 at the local pub.
Jimmy Carr did a good job in engaging with the audience and as expected had some great offensive jokes and stories. We were sitting in the second balcony and unfortunately the sound from the speakers was very poor. We very often could not understand what was being said especially if Jimmy told a follow up joke while the audience was still laughing. It also would have been beneficial to have a big screen to be able to see the facial expressions. It was obvious this was Jimmy’s second show. He seemed tired and less than enthusiastic. Not once did we hear his signature laugh. All in all, a less than stellar experience. I would go see him again but only if I got tickets closer to the stage. I would not go see any other similar acts at this venue due to the sound issues.
Laughed till we cried. Brilliant show with witty and intelligent humour with a crude shock value on occasion. Loved it.
The jubilee was FAR too hot that night for the amount of people who attended the 10 PM show. Perhaps crank down the heat & up the AC in the future. Also, we were only a few rows back & the sound was horrible. Turn up the volume in the future!
An awesome show full of great laughs but Jimmy also seems to tone down his North American gigs. I want a full on no holds barred UK show!
Was a great show full of laughter throughout the entire show. My jaw and face were sore from laughing so hard !
Jimmy was great, I will go and see him again next time he comes to town ... Jubilee was also great, great seats, great staff.
A large group of us sat in the first balcony on the left side and it was very difficult to hear what was being said. The sound was not loud enough and when you could hear it was often muffled. For a large auditorium that hosts numerous events you would expect to be able to hear the performer regardless of where you are seated. The poor sound woukd make me second guess attending any event at this venue
We were in the second balcony so a video screen(s) would have helped The sound wasn’t very good as we had trouble hearing Especially when the crowd got involved Jimmy out on a great show! Just wished we could had a better experience
Show was hilarious and well presented. I was sitting towards the back and found he was a tad hard to see, a screen with a camera of him would have been nice, but other than that I have no issues! Had a great evening.
Absolutely did not disappoint. The show was awesome.
No openers and still performed for 2 hours!!?? Unreal! Very funny and no topic was off limits! Can’t wait to see him again!
We had an amazing time at Jimmy Carr, we laughed so hard our faces hurt! Was an amazing show!
If you're not familiar with Jimmy Carr, I wouldn't suggest taking it in as your introductory performance. He's a shock comic with edge, hitting jokes about religion, gender identity, vaccines, rape, and just about any other taboo topic. Content is not for everyone but if you're open to the ridiculousness of everyday situations, he's a stellar performer. My only knock is that there are times that his delivery is soft-spoken and quick and when combined with his British accent, you might find yourself asking a neighbour, "what did he say?" Great show and I'd recommend to anyone who's a fan of quick delivery comedy!
Jimmy's wonderful material was completely ruined by the terrible sound. Once people started laughing, I couldn't hear a word he said. Complaints to the sound engineer were ignored. No reflection on Jimmy, but sort your technical people out.
Great show, super funny and Jimmy Carr covered all society issues hahaha
The show was two hours of non stop laughter! 😁 he even did his homework to add a Canadian twist to his show! I can’t wait until his next tour.
We enjoyed the show. His humour definitely pushes the boundaries and is not for everyone. This is an adult event in my opinion, but apparently, there was a thirteen year old there with his parents. Definitely not a show for a 13 year old.
