Born in Brooklyn in 1933, Joan Rivers earned a degree in English literature and anthropology before finding her way to the stage in the late '50s. Cutting her teeth in small Greenwich Village comedy clubs and local theater productions, Rivers biting wit and fearless attitude soon landed her recurring roles on various talk shows, including The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Carson made her is regular guest host in 1983, a catalytic moment in her rise to fame and a precursor to the 1986 debut of her own show The Late Show Starring Joan Rivers. Over the years, Rivers has built one of the most multi-faceted careers in entertainment, enjoying success as a stand-up comedian, an author, a talk show host, a fashion correspondent, and numerous other endeavors. Back on the road, Rivers will treat fans to her signature off-color comedy on a string of highly anticipated tour dates.

She was rude, crude and rolling on the floor hilarious.. I would recommend her to anyone that doesn't take offense to anything and that wants to laugh so hard your gut hurts all night.
What a fantastic act! The utterly fabulous Ms. Rivers left absolutely no stone unturned in her relentless attack on mankind. The 'aircraft hangar' as she called it rocked with laughter from start to finish. A truly amazing lady and a great start to our weekend!
Her energy and overall performance was outstanding. Young stars would have difficulty keeping up with her. Thanks Joan, for all the years of entertainment.
The entire evening was great. Joan Rivers kept me laughing all night long. Even today I'll recall a joke that she said that night and bust out laughing. I was unsure of what to expect but I'm glad that I went. Would definately go see her again!!!
Amazing! I was laughing so hard, I had tears in my eyes and a sore stomache. Those around me seemed to be in the same state.
She is a pretty amazing performer for her age..76! WOW. Energy level is incredible. Terrific one women show... Content & subject matter VERY crude....was shocked and not breathing for most of the show....lots of similar reactions of people seated in our section. Glad I went but ..don't think I would buy tickets to see her again..been there done that... Still giggling over some jokes..she crossed the line from the moment she walked on stage LOL
everything we expected and more, hilarious, obscene, (good way) shocking (good way) and tremedously entertaining. we would go and see her again anytime.
Joan has unbelievable spunk and stage presence! She kept us laughing all night and proved that you can be memorable and charismatic at any age!
Make sure you see this show with an empty bladder because the pressure from non-stop hard laughter could be embarrassing. But the truth is, you still wouldn't get up to excuse yourself because missing one word of Miss Rivers' act would be worse. Joan just gets more outrageous and energetic as she gets older. Non-stop humour. She has not lost any movement in her facial expressions. Exceptional entertainment for the price of admission. I'm still laughing days later. I will not miss her next visit.
Joan Rivers was a smash hit. I laughed so hard I was wheezing. I saw Joan in August in Vegas and just had to see her again when she came to Casino Rama. The energy this woman has is truly amazing. I have seen many acts, but Joan Rivers is the Queen of comedy.
I had a blast. Joan was fantastic. She looks great, I don't care what anyone says. Where does she get all that energy.
joan was amazing. She kept the audience in stiches , the couple sitting beside me could not stop laughing they also found her hilarious. She looked great, had alot of energy and interacted with some of the audience. the end she gave flower pots away; what a great idea!
If you ever get a chance to see one of Joan's shows - go. She is wild and crude but honest and a riot. If you want to be entertained in an outrageous way - she is the one to do that. She was in shape and gorgeous and funny, funny, funny. She also added some very caring touches and words which showed what a great lady she truly is. The only thing that would have made this over the top for me was if by some strange stretch of luck - I had been able to meet and talk to her. She is the greatest. I can now cross off seeing her from my bucket list but if I get the chance - I will go to see her show again. Thank you Joan for a wonderful memory.
A girlfriend and I went to see Joan Rivers at Rama. She was so irreverent and rude with disgustingly bad language that she was funny! She probably said a lot of things that women think but would never dream of saying out loud. My stomach was hurting I laughed so hard. She said she didn't have a clue where she was and had no idea why she should pay the 26 piece band when there were only 13 of them and did she look like she was going to sing?
This was our girl's weekend and we booked Joan Rivers tickets at the last minute. We thought it would be a laugh to go but didn't expect too much. From the moment the opening comedian came on we started laughing and it led right into Joan Rivers performance. We have never laughed so much in our entire life. At one point we were laughing so much that our faces hurt and didn't think we could take one more joke. Joan Rivers puts on an amazing show from start to finish and is totally entertaining. We would go back to see her in a heart beat. Thanks for making it a fun filled girl's weekend and making us laugh more than ever!!!

Joan Rivers was simply unforgettable!! My face hurt all night from laughter!!! The energy of this woman was amazing. If only people half her age had that much energy. She was raw and just plain funny. Fabulous show!!!!
For a performer she is excellent and has been for a long long time. It is nice to see a senior citized (76) do what she does. I was amazed how at how much energy she has and how sharp her mind appears to be. I hope she continues like George Burns did into her 100th birthday. I really enjoyed her performance.
