This was just excellent fun from beginning to end. For Monty Python fans who are expecting this to be the last presentation by two of the originals, this was just the ultimate in 50 years of comedy. Great audience participation with unexpected singalongs increased the fun. If I could, I'd go again the next day.
Loved the show and the video clips of previous ones as a reminder. We laughed all the way through with the rest of the full house!
An absolute riot! John and Eric recap on their career through old clips, reenacted skits, songs, stories and some things you never knew about the Monty Python gang. 5 stars!
I wasn't really quite sure what to expect when we bought the tickets for this show. I have always liked Monty Python and especially liked Fawlty Towers, but just didn't know what a live show would be like. I was not disappointed. John Cleese and Eric Idle came out on stage and basically walked us through the history of their performing lives. To help them, they used video replays and also performed some skits. And of course their was lots of monologue and banter between the two of them. It was very funny and well worth attending. Was a very good show and I would highly recommend it.
Both John Cleese and Eric Idle gave a fantastic show. They were on stage from 8 pm until 10.45 pm (with a short intermission). They reminisced, told funny jokes, sang and intermingled it with movie vignettes from their careers, including Monty Python and Fawlty Towers. Altogether, a great evening.
OMG! The BEST thing I've seen in a long time! Those two are amazing together and it honestly appears that they are such good friends. The songs, the jokes, the memories! Absolutely loved it!!
A fun and enjoyable stroll through the lives of my favorite comedians. STILL.
What a fantastic venue to see these two comedic legends. From them swapping stories about the good old days and reminiscing about past Python skits this was a great night. No regrets at all with seeing these two greats!!
This was the first time seeing either of them in a theatre. I enjoyed their performance and laughed a lot. The sound system was not great as it was hard at times to hear all that they had to say.
totally professionals who have comic timing ability that one seldom experiences. The entire audience was laughing and it was a full house. I took four friends and we all loved it. The friends wrote afterwards that they had laughed all the way home.
Growing up around all things Python, from the Flying Circus to Faulty Towers, seeing these two put on a show of not only stories, but skits and still pitch perfect iconic songs, was nothing short of hilarious and life affirming. ..... I could die now if not for the chance to continue watching their shows, following them on social media and wondering how amazing it is that I and my friends managed to have the opportunity to see them in the fish....I mean flesh.

John and eric were very witty as usual. Some of the live skits were a bit lame.Very cool historic info and nasty bits. Having seen John Cleese 2 years ago I was expecting a bit more. Overall a good performance.
Excellent show! Cleese & Idol did not disappoint, they were wonderful and hilariously funny! Great to see those old clips of the shows. I’m a big Fawlty fan and to hear the story behind about how it was created was super! Sell-out crowd!
John Cleese and Eric Idle were spot on the mark! It was like no time had passed for them - fabulous show, great humor and skits and wonderful to see some of the old clips again! We would go to that show every time it came around! A fantastic night out with lots of laughs!
Best show I've seen in years, maybe ever. A walk down memory lane with two of the most entertaining and creative people you're ever going to see on stage.
2 legends of British comedy on stage together. If you 'get' Brit humour and aren't easily offended then you would love this show. It was a full house and since I bought my tickets 2 additional shows were added! It was a mix of live sketches, and Eric and John just sitting and sharing stories of the history of Monty Python and their individual careers. It was genuinely entertaining and funny right form the start.
They did not disappoint! Great storytelling, songs, and skits. Would have been 5 stars if the sound had been better.
I'm so glad I had the opportunity to see these 2 perform live - their timing and humour were incredible. I would give them 6 stars if I could!
