What a great night I had!! John Grant was outstanding, regardless of the cold that he had self medicated against, his pipes were in first class working condition. I loved the arrangements for one or 2 musicians (John and /or a young nameless guy). John's lyrics and words to the audience between songs are so funny and sincere that the show felt very personal (I sat in the front row about 10 feet from the piano, so I guess that helped too). I talked to John after the show and he signed my CD, what a gracious guy!! Love ya, John! Come back to T.O. soon. oh yeah! the opener Gentleman Reg (unbilled) was great also. Jimbo
