    John Prine excels once again!

by thecree on 2009-08-15Massey Hall - Toronto

As usual, John Prine delivered a stellar performance. Three men and a woman, Carrie Rodriguez, carried the audience with an array of stringed instruments. Most notable was the lead guitarist...what a wonderful guitar player...he made the songs come alive on his guitar on stage.

Only downside was a very rude audience who kept talking; cellphoning etc. during the concert...

    Prine at his prime

by Nicodemos on 2009-08-15Massey Hall - Toronto

John Prine was amazing. However, the sound at massey hall was the worst I have ever heard it. We were unable to make out any spoken words.

    The master of folk

by Keyanuka on 2009-07-16Red Rocks Amphitheatre - Morrison

The concert was simply amazing, as always John warms your heart. He is simply the most powerful musical influence in my life. I've been singing and playing his music for over 30 years and it was worth traveling all the way from Canada to see the concert. Red Rocks was the icing on the cake. To have to opportunity to see my favorite artist at this venue was a thrill of my lifetime. At times during the show I would look around the theater in awe. Denver is blessed to have what I would class as a wonder of the world in their back yard. My friends and I will be back.
