  • Johnny Reid Blew me away!!!

by CBD44 on 2010-09-17Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Johnny was so personalable and an absolutely amazing performer!! I have seen Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Taylor Swift, Sugarland, Toby Keith, Arron Prichette, and more and Johnny's performance at the Jubilee was outstanding!! He could have easily sold our Rexall yet he kept it in the humble yet amazing Jubilee! I could talk forever on how amazing this man is at performing, but I will just say that if you have not seen him you are missing out!!

  • Johnny Reid Rocks the house....

by MoparDoug on 2010-09-17Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

This is the second time Alana and I have seen Mr Reid. We have his last two albums and his DVD from last years concert date at the Jub. He continues to amaze us at how great a showman he is becoming. Getting better and better with each passing year. He has the sound of some of the very best performers that have come before him. I would like to compare him to Elvis and of course one of my personal favorites Billy Joel. With time I believe he will be bigger than both of those very talented men. I look forward to purchasing his future albums and look forward to seeing him at his next big showing here in Edmonton.

  • Johnny Reed Did It Again

by baymisty on 2010-09-17Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

We've been to a couple of his "Jub" performances and this by far the best and most exciting. He sang all his hits and presented a few new songs which will be hits too.The closeness he has by being in this venue is great. The press must have missed the show, even though they just like him. He must have got better as the days went on. I don't think so?? He puts his heart into every event. He gave us our moneys worth and more.!!!!!!!! Going into the audience and getting us involved was an added bonus. Thanks for the evening.

  • Johnny Reid was heartfelt!!!!!!!

by Labs123 on 2010-09-17Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

This was an amazing performance. Johnny is such an inspiration to humanity. Left the concert feeling uplifted and loved. He expresses such true feelings in his songs that Im sure that everyone there felt some sort of true feelings in one of his songs. Thanks to the Jubilee for making this a more personable performance by being a smaller venue so you are more connected wth the performer

OMG! want to be entertained to the fullest go see Jonny Reid! I would have paid 200 to see the concert. It started out upbeat and came full circle. have yet to see a performer that sounds better than his cd. He talked about his wife, kids, granny ,and his dad. His rapport with his audience is phenomenal. as a performer ...that leaves you with the assurance that he totally did his job.

  • Isn't he great?

by lovingJohnny on 2010-09-17Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

We've been to a few of Johnny's performances and he never fails his audience. No matter what he does, he truly knows how to make people feel special and treats us like we are part of his family. He not only tells us how much he loves this country, but shows us by getting involved in raising money for charities, whether it's getting people to buy teddy bears, showing up to help raise money for the children of the Big Valley accident, or riding the rails in the bitter cold, giving impromptu performances in towns across the province. He relates to people on a very personal level and we love him for it.

  • Totally Awesome Preformance

by Kathle on 2010-09-17Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Johnny Reid put on a fabulous show. He is a top notch preformer and person. I wish that I had bought tickets for all four of his preformances in Edmonton. Just truly wonderful. His opening act was ok, but the man was too quiet when he talked. The lady has a very powerful voice but in my opinion needs to find the right songs to sing for that voice. Happy to see that they are Canadians able to live their dream.

We have seen the biggest names in country entertainment - Kenny Chesney, Garth Brooks, Rascal Flatts....etc. Johnny is right up there with the BEST! He is a class act - cares about his audience/fans and in a genuine artist. A true entertainer.

  • by cohora on 2010-09-17Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

the show was fantastic, really enjoyed Johnny Reid and was especially pleased with the opening act, The Stella's, very fun refreshing new group! Unfortunately had some very obnoxious, loud ladies behind us that spoiled a good portion of the show for us with their talking and comments. Wished we could have spotted an usher to escort them out!

  • Johnny Reid is amazing!

by LandB on 2010-09-17Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Johhny Reid get up close and personal by sharing his music and himself with the audience. Truly an amazing entertainer and human being. Definately one of the top concerts ever!

  • exceptional performance

Johnny Reid is an amazing performer. His songs all tell touching stories, be they serious, funny or upbeat, it's not just noise. He is humble and never forgets his roots. Including funny, loving things about his family. He is energetic and includes the audience. You leave his performance feeling good and thinking he is just like us. I hope he never loses that charm.
