From the moment he came onstage, with his amazing voice, I was mesmerized ☺ I love his voice, especially when he sings the ballads. He gave 110% the whole 90 minutes. I would definitely go see him again ☺

Wow, what a show! It was absolutely amazing. without all the fancy lights and lasers...Johhny Reid can still put on an amazing show. His vocals are superb and his energy is awesome. Made me cry when he sang "Thank You" as the encore...the passion, emotion and intensity of his voice is incredible!

The energy shown by Johnny Reid was amazing. Never seem to tire and his goal was to entertain. Love his explanations about his songs and why he wrote them. A truly wonderful performer. My only complaint was that from my seat, the music seemed too loud and seemed to drown out his voice at times.

  • Johnny Reid was awesome

by Happytobeme on 2010-07-26Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 5 out of 5

He sang beautifully, his stage presence was fabulous, and his accent is to die for! He engaged the crowd, in fact he actually went into the crowd, throught the floor, into the stands and all the way to the top row while singing! He shared personal stories. And though his band took a break, he didn't. His show was worth every penny!,

  • Johnny Reid was FANTASTIC!

Saw Johnny in Red Deer Alberta on Saturday, July 23. He was incredible! He seems like such a gentleman as well as a great performer. I appreciated how he showcases his band members and gives credit due. His show was the best I've been too! TWO standing O's!

  • Great show

Johnny put on an awesome show... puts his heart & soul into his performance... wow he has so much energy.. the band was amazing... The only disappointing & annoying thing was westerner park charging admission plus parking even though we were only attending the concert... a lot of angry concert goer's...

  • Johny Ried -- fanastic

    by 52peg on 2010-07-26Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 5 out of 5

He played all his hits- talked and visited-Danced with people in the crowd and climbed the stairs to hug people up in the stands-- not just the floor but us up in the stands. He kept the crowd entertained and no one wanted it to end.

  • Johnny Reid was a wonderful suprise

by DJSAM on 2010-07-26Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 5 out of 5

We attended the concert with my senior citizen parents who are country music fans. Me, not so much. We were however, swept away by the stellar performance of Johnny Reid. When he jumped off the stage during the second song and made his way through the audience I was blown away. Johnny danced with a number of women and even climbed into the upper level to "get in touch" with his audience. The stories were poignant,, explaining what prompted the writing of the songs and the performance of said songs was beyond excellent. The only negative aspects of the concert were the sound (instrument solos were often not completely heard) and lights (when the lights were FREQUENTLY pointed into the audience it was blinding leaving us with slight headaches).

Johnny Reid was awesome! Loved his new song about his Gran.

we enjoyed the show with the exception that we found the music was too loud and we had a hard time hearing the singing. We were not facing the stage and the amplifiers on the sides were distorting the sound. We feel we should not have paid the same price for tickets as the people on the floor as we were in the rafters. Johnny Reid was an excellent performer and never took a break thro the entire show.

  • Johny the performer

    by Judy224469 on 2010-07-26Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 5 out of 5

A unescorted walk through the crowd was the best I have seen.Solo vocals by johny and band members proved why they were on stage and I was in the stands.

  • Johnny Reid

by Keylac on 2010-07-26Enmax Centrium - Red DeerRating: 4 out of 5

Johnny was GREAT -- awesome interaction with the crowd -- acoustics could have been a bit better -- but the irritating thing was the Westerner charging $9.00 adult plus $6.00 for parking when we were there just for the concert -- I get the parking charge, but I would have rather paid more fo my ticket and have it include gate admission.

Johnny Reid puts on a great show and is full of energy the whole time. The unfortunate part for him and us was that the sound in the Centrium was absolutely terrible for his show. I have been there before and the sound isn't always this bad. It definitely took away from the performance.

  • Johnny Reid was very excellent.

My husband and I thought that he put on a really fantastic concert. We liked how he interacted with the audience and even gave the ones in the nose bleed sections a chance to be up close and personal. Very good entertainer.

My husband and I both really enjoyed him. His songs were touching and real. He sounded just like he does on the radio. A must see for the whole family
