Classy act. The whole band was a pleasure to watch & listen to. Johnny has a wonderful stage presence & "shares" his music with the audience. Really enjoyed the evening.

This was my second time attending a Johnny Reid concert. He gets better every time. Connects with the audience, sings from his heart and has an amazing voice. He is truly one of the best entertainers of our time. Would go to see him whenever the opportunity presented itself. He does not stop dancing and performing for one minute while on stage.

I have seen Johnny Reid every time he has come to winnipeg, starting way back from Coyote's, to the Casino(multiple times), with Martina, the CCMA's, the holiday train here and in whitemouth and I will say it a thousand times over YOU NEED TO SEE HIM LIVE!! If you are a fan it is an absouloutly amazing show if you aren't a fan going in you will be when you leave. Truly a talent and his band is amazing, you will regret missing out and more shows seem to be his way, who else can sell out 3 and sometimes more shows in one stop. I cannot say enough!

I heard from friends who had seen JR in concert and said he was amazing so I was looking forward to going. My husband & I took my parents for their anniversary and we all had an excellent time. JR was an excellent performer / singer and was endearing to his fans. You can tell that family means everything to him. I would definitely go and see him again.

  • Johnny Reid - awesome

by Rossi on 2009-11-25Barrie Molson Centre - BarrieRating: 5 out of 5

Thought he was a great performer, right up there with Brooks and Dunn, Reba etc. He was thoughtful, polite, funny, charismatic and engaging. He was like the Everready Bunny, just didn't quite. His singing was just like his CD's and radio and his moments of talking with the crowd very pleasant. Of course, my wife was just like the other women around me swooning over him. Only wished that there had been big screens as it was hard to see him up close and personal.

  • Johnny is simply amazing

    by 4NLKMK on 2009-11-25Barrie Molson Centre - BarrieRating: 5 out of 5

Words do not do justice to a man of such magnitude!! He is like no other entertainer I have ever seen. My mother is 65 yrs old and she said it was the best concert she has ever been too .... and she saw Elvis in Toronto in his gold Lemay suite.... so... that's quite the compliment and one that Johnny Reid is totally worthy of. He showed truely amazing personality and charisma and charm to everyone in the audiance of all ages. His personal reflection of his recent loss of his grandmother revealed a level of connection with the audiance that I personally have never felt with another performer. Johnny is a true gentleman, entertainer and overall incredible artist. He's a must see for one and all.

My daughters and I had a great night. Johnny is a great preformer. He got down into the audience during one of the first songs and danced or shook hands with fans.

Better get out to see him perform while you can still get tickets at smaller venues. Soon he will be filling the bigger ones.

Johnny and his VERY talented band were rocking!! I hope he records his tune The Sunday Phone Call.. brought trears to my eyes, you could hear a pin drop, he was just that capitivating!! There was an aged mixed crowd from kids to grannies, I just wished that there was more people dancing, maybe next time. Momentum is building....You had me at "Come Dance with Me"...

This is the 3rd time I have been to a Johnny Reid concert and they just keep getting better. The sound was amazing, the crowd was amazing and it was really well organized. Started on time, friendly ushers and ticket takers. Couldn't have been better.

  • Barrie loved Johnny Reid

by COMOM on 2009-11-23Barrie Molson Centre - BarrieRating: 5 out of 5

Barrie Molson Centre was filled with Johnny Reid fans on Friday, November 20, 2009. His loyal Tartan Army members, sporting tartan scarves, were treated to a chance to meet the star before the show. During the show Johnny shared his "love" with the whole audience. He went up into the stands, had children up on stage with him, shared stories and asked the audience if they were "feelin alright". Backed up by his soul sisters, a saxaphonist, organist, guitarists, drummer and 3 times Canadian fiddle champ, Johnny sounded fantastic. He capped the evening with his hit "Thank You'.
