About

Joji is one of the digital age's most mesmerizing voices. Popular singles like “SLOW DANCING IN THE DARK” (2018), “Run” (2020) and 2022’s Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hit “Glimpse of Us” exemplify Joji’s blend of alt-R&B with lush pop balladry. Nectar (2020) and SMITHEREENS (2022) led to rave reviews from publications like Billboard, who wrote that “anyone familiar with Joji’s dulcet tones and emotionally revealing lyricism could have predicted that he’d become a solo star.” Jojio (born George Kusunoki Miller in Osaka) built an online audience in the 2010s with viral comedy sketches. Then, in 2017, Joji began releasing music under 88Rising and put out his first album, Ballads 1 (2018). It debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and established Joji as a rising star..

    Good show

by Nick on 2022-10-14MTELUS - Montreal

It was a great show. Joji performed amazingly and I had no complaints about him. The hype man was a little annoying with all the random noises hed play, but still enjoyed the music. Wouldve been nice to get something like a card or something thanking me or a memento that i went, not $75 hoodie or a $50 t shirt. And $5 for a shot of vodka is too much. I still enjoyed the show though, glad i went.

    Awesome time

by Kayla on 2022-10-13History - Toronto

Really hype show and great starters!!! Half-comedy show really. Floor was packed though so be mindful of the venue. General tip: if you’re short, either get seated tickets or come hours early for barricade.

Most beautiful experience of my life

    by G. S. on 2022-10-12

Loved every moment of that concert—from receiving a signed poster and special T-shirt, as a VIP, to the performances by SavageRealm, Dhruv and Joji. Everything felt surreal and was just perfect… I’ll ignore the fact that it was way too hot in the venue, also the wait outside and between the performances were very long. We were invited to stand outside at 4:30 PM for an 8:30 show… which was just unnecessary. Nevertheless, it was the best experience of my life and will absolutely go again.

Great experience, had a good time

    by A. M. on 2022-10-10

I loved it. I found that the venue was pretty spacious for a sold out show, which is pretty awesome. The opening acts and Joji's preformance was amazing. The vibe was pretty great!!

I got there a bit late so I missed most of the openers but Joji put on an amazing show! The venue was okay. I had never been there so it was a bit confusing finding my seats but that’s a minute detail

Like a kid in a candy store.

    by River Henderson on 2022-09-11

This is probably the most excited and happy I’ve been in years, getting the free VIP tee shirt, being against the barrier, having JOJI and the crew be interactive with the crowd made for an incredible show. From launching shirts, having Merlin on, to the Fillet ‘ O ‘ Fish this concert will forever be my best one. Looking forward to the next time he tours 🔥🔥

    Joji

by Grace on 2022-09-10UBC - Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre - Vancouver

Amazing performance. I was on the floor everyone was really pushy but that’s to be kinda expected on the floor. Joji shot tshirts into the crowd and other things. The concert was everything I wanted. Definitely recommend seeing Joji

    Underwhelming

by AriBeri on 2022-09-10UBC - Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre - Vancouver

I was super disappointed. I sat not too far from the stage and i still couldn’t see joji well. There was no camera or anything to amplify him so people who weren’t on the ground could see him… very sad. He is a great performer but can’t really enjoy something you can’t see. Love you joji but man that was sad. Also the opening acts were so bad let’s be honest. Joji also performed for under an hour which was not worth my money i won’t lie.

    Exceded Expectations

by Mangles on 2022-09-10UBC - Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre - Vancouver

The venue firstly was very good. Super easy on the way in and a decent size so even in the stands you got a good view of the stage. Savage realm and rei brown were a good warm up for the crowd. Joji was even better than I expected him to be and I already had high hopes. His energy was awesome, he was funny, his music incredible and even the hype man was on point. My only complaint is that I would have liked him to have been on a little longer than an hour. Theres a few songs I wanted to hear that didnt come but thisnis only a minor compaint. Spectacular show altogether.
