About

Joji is one of the digital age's most mesmerizing voices. Popular singles like “SLOW DANCING IN THE DARK” (2018), “Run” (2020) and 2022’s Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hit “Glimpse of Us” exemplify Joji’s blend of alt-R&B with lush pop balladry. Nectar (2020) and SMITHEREENS (2022) led to rave reviews from publications like Billboard, who wrote that “anyone familiar with Joji’s dulcet tones and emotionally revealing lyricism could have predicted that he’d become a solo star.” Jojio (born George Kusunoki Miller in Osaka) built an online audience in the 2010s with viral comedy sketches. Then, in 2017, Joji began releasing music under 88Rising and put out his first album, Ballads 1 (2018). It debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and established Joji as a rising star..

    Fun experience like no other

    by J. D. on 2023-11-04

Its worth every cent for pit tickets! His fan base are so chill. I've met the coolest people in the pit. His 2 openingers were good. A freaky dude named lil toe was humping the ground and a dj playing classic kanye and kendrick and songs that hyped us up. They kinda dragged it making us wishing they can get over it and see joji already. When the 2 hour opening was done Seeing joji perform his songs up close made me ball my eyes out, crying and laughting with his filthy frank humor. If you dont like his humor and just a fan of joji, maybe not for you, i see people not liking it if they only know him for his music. Ive been to 2 of his concerts. They were exactly the same show it seemed but with new music but i still loved every moment.

    Overrated

    by Soph on 2023-10-28

Not worth it. The first 2 hours was opener’s performance. Tbh go clubbing would be more fun. The worst concert I’ve ever seen.

How is Joji anything less than perfect?

by Reagan on 2023-10-27Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Literally everything about the show was awesome! The seating was sort of tough to navigate when it was dark as it is in most arenas, so that was typical, but yeah! The lighting, sound, specifically instrumentals and vocals not even the backing tracks were super crispy!!! Like everything was great, but just awesome sounds and the visuals including the moving stages were insane and I cannot believe the effort it must’ve taken to plan it. And execute it!

    Best Concert Ever

by Maira on 2023-10-27Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

One of the best concerts I’ve been to this year! Joji was so interactive with fans. This felt like a hang out with him rather then a concert. Would love to see him again soon!

it was great but the rave in the middle was a little long

by mi on 2023-10-27Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

The concert was definitely my favourite one I have ever been to, but in my opinion the rave in the middle with the openers, was extensively long. It would have been better if it was shorter. Otherwise I loved the concert so much! Joji is great!

    A Breathtaking Experience

by Mandy on 2023-10-27Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

I am a big fan of Joji since his SoundCloud days. This is the second time I flew from Newfoundland to Toronto just to see him in concert. Every year he is getting more popular. I love his humour and comedic element to his shows as well as how breath taking the version of his songs are when he performs live. I’m sure this won’t be my last time seeing him!
