Thoroughly enjoyed Joss Stone. Wonderful voice, songs, vibe...also great band! Very relaxed and fun evening!

It was a great show. Only bad thing was, the bass drum of the drums set was set way too loud and the bass player could not be heard at all. Except the bass solo. All over volume was just on the limit. Otherways an amazing performance of Joss Stone

Recently saw Joss Stone in Detroit having followed her music since hearing the Soul Sessions 10 years ago. As expected Joss had a strong band and back-up singers with her. She has her trademark strong R & B voice, but somewhat disappointed in her song selection for the night. She tried to draw the crowd in with audience sing song around the hall - ok, once is all right, but she did this several times during the show. We all came to hear her voice, not the crowd! Have to admit the concert did get a little boring with too many 'same-sounding' songs rather than some of her better known ones. Don't get me wrong, I liked the show, but it just did not 'blow us away'.

First time to the Sound Academy and would go back again .Recomend the VIP balcony seats!Great sight and sound. Joss Stone was a powerhouse and vulnerable as well, all at the same time.

Undeniably the best show of the century! Classy, soulful! 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Very mature, humble girl with a thundering stage presence. Loves her audience, and aims to please. Went by too fast. What a powerhouse young lady. Can't wait to see her again.

Terrific Show. Joss Stone has a fantastic voice and put on a terrific show. Her opening band was also wonderful. I would go back to Sound Academy and hope that the seats would be better.

She is an amazing singer/performer, great band to support her. Love all her albums and song came through perfectly. But with the amount of material at her service, concert should've been longer than 1 hour and 20 minutes. It should've been at least 1h45.

Im afraid i did not get my moneys worth - She only sang for 1hr and-10 min and made us wait 1hr. The songs she sang were not memorable and music was difficult to define - rock sole or other . Her voice was screeching at times - too bad there was a good crowd who wanted to rock but could not. So it was very boring .

Although she has an amazing voice, you couldn't hear the vocals over the drums. Each song sounded like the next because the drums were so predominant. I walked out after 25 minutes

What an evening! Unexpected totally entertained - the energy and music was fantastic - a true artist in every sense of the word!

great concert joss stone is a great performer,awesome voice,a beautiful woman with a great stage presence,her voice is unique and wow i was very happy and had lots of fun,would go and see her anytime and bring my friends,thank you Joss for a great concert :)

Feeling her soul pouring out when she sings is just such an amazing thing to feel and watch! Not to mention how adordable she is. It was the best concert experience I have ever had. the Sound Academy is by far the best place to see a performance. It is intimate and you could feel the love. General admission is the best! Being able to take video and pictures was pretty awesome too!

Joss is entirely beautiful. I loved how she interacts with people.

The night started with an awesome set from Vintage Trouble. They filled the place with energy, got the crowd going, and set the bar really really high. Joss did a wonderful set of new songs and old hits with grace and energy. Just a fantasitc show.

Great concert. Joss Stone was awesome. I read lots of negative reviews about the Sound Academy before going, but we really enjoyed it. Small venue, not too crowded, could see from everywhere. I would go back.

Joss Stone played an amazing set. Her interplay with the audience was a nice touch. She seemed to be really enjoying herself and was having a good time and it showed with her passion when she sang. She really belted out the songs. The band was very good especially the guitarist. The opening act was fantastic (VINTAGE TROUBLE) . They were very bluesy with a soulful touch. The lead singer has a great voice. Check them out when you can. P.S. They will be opening up for the Who on their current tour.

Joss Stone has soul!!! Vintage Soul is a great find. One of my new favorites.

Joss sounded amazing and put on a fantastic show. I would love to see her a different venue however (one with seats) and not general admission. So incredibly talented!
