    Judas Priest rocked Toronto!

by Diggs on 2009-07-10Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

Great show! One of the best concerts I have ever attended. Awesome setlist, awesome effects! I can't wait until the next time they come around. I hope in the future they come on a weekend because the show ran a little late for a weekday. Whitesnake opened for Priest and really surprised me with the quality of their performance. Great concert!

    Priest Rock the Amphitheatre

by Sexsmith on 2009-07-10Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

The British Steel album is an all time heavy metal classic and Judas Priest delivered the goods with rapid fire intensity. You could hear their sheer commitment to excellence in every note that they played. Scott Travis and Ian Hill's rhythms are dead-on precise, yet never lack for intensity. K.K. and Glenn's riffs and leads still have the spark that has excited fans for all these years. Even when they chug along on a simple eighth-note rhythm, no-one sounds like them. A personal highlight for me was K.K.'s solo on "Victim of Changes", the way that he goes for it with the tremolo like an over-the-top Hendrix is spectacular! Last, but certainly not least was Rob Halford. My wife who always seems to comment whenever I listen to Priest that they have the best songs of any heavy band, must have said three times she could not get over how good Rob sounded live. "Nostradamus" is a triumph and I am glad that they included the title track in their set. I would gladly pay to see that album performed in it's entirety! Absolutely amazing!!

    Judas Priest Rocked the House!!!

by Cindy on 2009-07-10Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

35 years later and Judas Priest still knows how to put on a show. I have seen them 5 times, and will go back next time they are in town.

Heavy metal music - surprisingly bearable.

    by Golfnut22 on 2009-07-10Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

Went to the Judas Priest concert (with White Snake opening) - albeit a little deaf after the loud music and screaming (of other fans), this concert was surprisingly good . It's my first heavy metal concert and the band put on a really good show for close to 2 hrs. White Snake performed for an hr and a half with really good performance as well.

    Robs voice was excellent!

by Jimmy on 2009-07-10Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

Judas Preist have been perfoorming forever and they still are able to grab their audience. The band is so tight and Rob can still belt out those high notes. Last night watching Judas Preist perform was a blast from the past. It was nice to see that somethings never change and I can't wait to see them again! Thanks for an amazing night!

    Still Delivering the Goods

by MetalMaven on 2009-07-10Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

I've seen Priest 3 times in the last 5 years. And, no doubt, I'll go see them again. They really know how to please the crowd. Great show. Great night.

    Priest Rocks!

by MaryPoppins on 2009-07-10Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

The concert going experience wasn't the best I have ever had, mainly due to the excessive smoking in the supposedly non-smoking seating section, but Priest did a great job.

The Priest is still keeping the faith

by Fanbot on 2009-07-10Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

For anyone looking to have a religious metal experience and worship at the temple of the Gods, make it to the next show. They make the audience a part of their performance and shake the ground beneath you. These guys still have it and played not only the British Steel album but every song to perfection. A must see for all heavy metal maniacs!

A Sonic Assault on the Senses!

by TheRipper on 2009-07-10Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

After four decades of metal mayhem, Judas Priest continues to deliver the goods. In another spectacular high-energy performance, Halford's operatic vocals sliced through the crowd. With an almost tribal unity, the audience responded on cue to the refrains from such classics as "Breaking the Law" and "Living After Midnight". The visuals were spectacular and the sound quality was exceptional. Certainly a show worth seeing again.

Judas Priest was loud and Proud

by wolverine on 2009-07-10Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

From start to finish, the music was pushed to the limit. Not being very familiar with Priest,it took a very short time to appreciate. The playing of the full album of British Steel, was a great idea for the die hards and my buddy, who had a Priest shirt that was over 20yrs old. All in all they did not dissapoint. Rob Helford was a touch off vocally, but for the most part he rocked. As for the venue, not pleased. With all the service and building fees on top of ticket price, security wouldn't let you scratch your ass without asking ,"what are you doing". It was very hard to really enjoy yourself, without worrying about somebody tapping you on the shoulder. I thought this was Canada, felt like was in prison camp watching a concert. Dont do this! dont do that! If I wanted that I will go live in a communist country. You have to lighten up,or people will stop going

    Judas Priest & WhiteSnake

by Qwiet on 2009-07-10Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

Simply one of the most amazing concerts i have been to in a long while, From the first they came on stage like the "Metal Gods" they are to many, To the final bow, people of all ages ( little MetalHeads in the making to Old Headbangers) renewed their love and admiration of the band we call fondly Judas Priest.

    The Priest Beast

by Painkiller on 2009-07-10Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

Bear witness to the Heavy Metal Gods as they perform their breakthrough album BRITISH STEEL,song for song, with such clarity and power,As a true Judas Priest fan,I was blown away,to hear songs that recieve little or no radio airplay. And by having Whitesnake on the bill featuring David Coverdale and his new young band, tearing through 80's classics, with the same voice that he's known for,and still very much can sing, little was to be desired for this showdown of vocal shredding. Throughly enjoyed this show!

    Judas Priest show was loud!

by nukanine on 2009-07-10Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

The show was a very tight and amazing sounding show at the molson amphitheatre last night. It was a perfect night for a concert and the band taped that to deliver the goods. Singer Rob Halford was in fine form and sounded just like he recorded the albums of the past of which they played the album "British Steel" in it's inteirty to perfection. Glenn Tipton and KK Downing did their parts and delivered the sonic goods on guitar and rocked away on stage in hipnotic Judas Priest fashion just as they have done for 30 years. Age was not a factor and the crowd although older but still as racous as ever was emamored and the applause was louder than ever after every song proved the loyalty and how much Judas Priest is still enjoyed and admired to this very day. Some hits were missed but overall the songs were tight and sounded crisp and clean. The show was a fan's dream come true and worth every hard earned penny.
