Justin was absolutely incredible! He has an amazing voice. Love his lyrics and music. Great young guitarist with him, Mike Doors. Loved it! Loved how he talked to us and told stories about his songs.
Justin Was in fine form mixing new songs with his classics ! Very deep event for the music listener. He is still an immense talent on the guitar and as a singer songwriter. His stories of songs and his fortune to be a performer were great. Was a wonderful night of great music and fantastic vocals by Justin and Julie Rag gins. Mike Dawes guitar help was fine!
For a singer whose career started in the 60's, Justin Hayward, lead singer for The Moodie Blues, still has a great voice and can put on a fine concert. He sang a selection of songs from his new album released a year ago, plus most of his hits from the Moodies. He was backed by Mike Dawes, excellent on lead guitar and a woman on keyboards (forget her name but also very good). Dawes played two amazing solos mid-show. A very enjoyable concert.
Justin Hayward was wonderful to watch and listen to. Old favorites and new songs were equally great to hear. I thought the rendition of Nights in White Satin was even better than the original. Just the 3 musicians without the orchestra. Mike Dawes is excellent and I can see where he may be a main act himself on day.
I have been to a lot of concerts over the last 50 yrs. This one just caused me to reflect on my life and how much music has meant to me. Like a wonderful trip through my life.It has recharged my soul.
