Katy Perry is a globally renowned pop artist and 13-time Grammy nominee. She began her music career as a gospel singer before making her pop debut in 2008 with One of the Boys. The album peaked in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 and spawned Perry’s first No. 1 hit with the Grammy-nominated "I Kissed a Girl." Perry quickly skyrocketed to pop icon status, achieving unprecedented success with her 2010 album Teenage Dream, which hit No. 1 and earned a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year. The album also produced five consecutive No. 1 singles with “California Gurls” (featuring Snoop Dogg), “Teenage Dream,” “Firework,” “E.T.” (featuring Kanye West) and “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.).” In 2017, Perry made history by becoming the first artist to earn three RIAA Diamond Song Awards for “Firework,” “Dark Horse” and “Roar.” Perry now has seven diamond-certified titles. Her distinctive style, blending provocative lyrics with catchy pop melodies, has made her one of the best-selling music artists in history, with over 70 million albums sold worldwide. Beyond music, Perry has expanded her career into television, serving as a judge on “American Idol,” released her own fragrance with Killer Queen and was the subject of the 2012 documentary Katy Perry: Part of Me. In 2024, Perry released her seventh studio album, 143, which features the lead single “WOMAN’S WORLD."

great show...would have enjoyed it more if it wasn't raining
I was totally impressed with the whole night. The choice of opening acts was fantastic. Both The New Cities and The Stereos did an amazing job. The highlight of the evening was of course the unpredictable Miss Katy Perry. Katy had the crowd on their feet most of the night and shared all of her songs from her CD "One of the Boys" along with covers of a couple classics. Her "I don't care what people think" attitude just added to the fun. I look forward to her next return to Canada as well as her new CD which she claims is now in the works. All in all, I would recommend Katy Perry's concerts to all ages, though keep in mind, some lyrics do contain minor language. A++++ Katy! Thanks for sharing.
Katy Perry's performance and personality set this concert apart from any other. For many performers today, when you go to their concert you find that they do not sound much like they did on the album. The same cannot be said of Katy Perry, if anything listening to her live allows her to show more of her vocal talents off and makes for an even better listening experience. Following every song, she shares a joke or a story. Her ability to have a good time on stage allows for the audience to have a great time watching her. She is uninhibited and highly entertaining. This was my second Katy Perry concert and it definitely will not be my last.
The concert was great and the venue location was really good. The weather was not the best but we were in the covered area which made things better. A little confusion at the beginning with getting everyone inside - lots of chaos and impatient people. But once inside the concert was good and the opening bands were good as well! I had an awesome time.
I could have done without the opening acts but once Katy hit the stage they were easily forgotten. She sounded excellent live, I would highly recommend checking her out. She performed all the songs from her CD effortlessly and put on a killer show. Her choice of covers was superb too. She performed "Don't Stop Me Now" by her inspirations Queen and brought the house down. If Katy stops in your city I would highly recommend buying tickets to the show.
I always thought Katy looked like she was lot of fun, and I'm so glad I was right! She spends a lot of time talking to the crowd which really makes it a memorable experience, and the girl CAN sing!
The concert was totally awesome. The two bands that preformed before her added depth and excitement to the venue making it enjoyable for a variety of different groups in the audience. Her costumes, dance moves and personal comments made the concert meaningful and unique! She even trusted the audience to jump into the crowd-what a gutsy move!! Her show was dynamic and full of energy! We would certain;ly go again and recommend it to all. I went with my 16 & 18 year old sons and there was something there for all of us. Great experience was had by all!
Great show, very entertaining, actually sounds like her album (in other words she can actually sing) go figure! awesome interaction with the audience, fun and funny show!
when she came out i was amazed i was seeing Katy Perry in live!! she was weraing a cute seahorse outfit and ssang her heart out!!! I LOVE U KATY PERRY!!!!!!
Katy Perry's concert was so much better than anticipated. She put on a great show. Her costumes were great. She gets the crowd involved in her show which was fantastic. I would recommend anyone see one of her concerts. I would go again
This gal is a powerhouse! Never a dull moment, it seems like she really just loves being on stage, being with people, loves, being loved!!! I felt like I was in alice and wonderland or a barbie playhouse with the costumes and stage set up, but it seems her talent matches if not exceeds her imagination, I enjoyed every second of it. She's an absolute bombshell, totally gorgeous AND she knows how to put on a show!
Katie put on a good show. She's got a high level of energy and is a real cutie. I liked her interaction with the audience especially. She had two good opening acts (New Cities and Stereos). Can't say it was a memorable concert but okay.
I was completely impressed with the way Katy interacted with her audience. The interpretation of her music sounded remarkable. Overall she did an excellent job for someone so new to the business.
Katy Perry has great stage presence. She did not fail to keep the crowd engaged.
I thought this was a fabulous show! There were a lot of underage kids, but that is understandable due to the opening acts. I was not too impressed with The New Cities and Stereos but that is based on the fact that I am not a 17 year old girl! I thought Katy Perry put on a really great show, though! She was very personable with the crowd, humerous and showcased her talent incredibly well. Even though we were rained on for a bit towards the end, it did not take away from the show at all!
I was expecting a lip synced, half assed, crappy show from the pop princess. But nope! It was amazing!!!! She can really work a crowd like crazy and actually has an awesome voice! WOW. I was blown away at her energy and I loved the fact that she didnt take herself seriously. Thank you katy for a great night!!!!! xD
the concert was great, she sings amazing live, she totally interacts with the audience, super sweet girl, i would definitely go again.
Though we may never be able to pinpoint the transition to from gospel singer to male (and female) friendly pop sensation, the Queen influence that launched her to the top of Canadian music charts shone through at the Molson Ampitheatre in Toronto last night for a hell of rock show-with lots of girly sass. Pink flamingoes. Leopard skin outfits. Kitty cats. High energy. And cherry chapstick. Katy Perry rocked the house last night to packed crowd of teeny boppers, their moms and the lucky dads and boyfriends who were happily dragged along. MEOW!!
Katy Perry at Molson theatre was awsome she was funny and entertaining we had a great time
