Brilliant show. I hope the North Americans in attendance, now have a new found sense of humour.
Very good Kevin did not disappoint and many references to Canada got a standing ovation well earned First act slow but warmed up and funny at end! I was very happy to support Kevin
Kevin was a brilliant as I hoped, top material, he exudes enjoyment which really makes you feel part of the show. Can't wait to see him again
Kevin Bridges was brilliant. I highly recommend him! His insights are hilarious!
Kevin did a great show and hopefully we see him again soon.
Kevin Bridges is an extremely funny guy, his show was very current with observations of crazy world affairs. He also picked up on the issues in Vancouver and created humour from them. He’s a clever guy who created lots of laughs for the Vancouver audience. Excellent!! The warm up act just didn’t work for me, but I came to see Bridges who was excellent.
He was so down to earth, and just kept coming up with new stories. I wish he was in the area again I would see him again tomorrow
Kevin gave us a laugh a minute! His ability to read the room was amazing. His interactions with the audience were positive and funny. We had a great night and would definitely love to see him again!
It baffles me how someone can be on stage for TWO hours and keep an audience laughing all the time. Kevin seemed to do it effortlessly and was rewarded with a rightly deserved standing ovation . Not quite as funny as Billy Connelly but getting close. The seating at the Burton Cummings theatre was comfortable but lacked legroom - worse than flying coach. The place also needs a good repainting but once you started laughing you forgot about that
Loved watching Kevin Bridges at the Elgin Theatre. He was so funny and I love the Elgin Theatre for its original feel and ambience. Great experience all round.
Bridges was good but Id rather hear his Scottish stuff rather than American accents
The best 2 hours I have had in a long time… I called my niece in Seattle and told he to get tickets for Kevin when he is in her town . He is fantastic
Kevin Bridges was hilarious and spot on with his observational comedy. So good to see him in person. Too bad audience members were up and down to use the loo constantly - kind of annoying for those who want to focus on the comedy. Maybe selling overpriced drinks shouldn't be the focus, or keep them for before and after the show.
Thoroughly enjoyed the showed. Opening act was funny and Kevin Bridges was hilarious.
KB did not disappoint, absolutely fantastic. So happy to see him do so many stops in Canada, brilliant! Well done KB, come back soon.
Had best night he is so funny. Laughed so hard. 1st time at Massey Hall - great venue.
Massey Hall is a great venue and Kevin Bridges put on an amazing show. Scottish humor is like no other. We can laugh at ourselves and not come away offended. Can't wait to see Kevin Bridges next time he comes to Canada.
Kevin exceeded expectations...he is so mentally quick at reacting to the audience. He very much reminds me of Robin Williams, so in tune with the mood of the crowd and he seems to be having such a great time himself. There was one moment where a tRump fan took exception to the material and stormed out in a huff cursing...even that was hilarious especially the way the audience reacted...🤣 Truly a magical evening that made me so proud to be a Scotsman.
Everything was looking good until the people in front of us sat down. Because the seats did not have the proper incline and because one of the people in the row in front had BIG hair, I could almost see Kevin ‘s head when he was standing in the middle of the stage. The banter and patter were very good, but spoiled by the venue’s seating 😞
Kevin Bridges does not need subtitles, he’s simply one funny man with the ability to warm up his audience and literally get them to bubbling cries of laughter in quick order. His play on our kindergartens was a gem of a sketch, and his adeptness at handling the one or two hecklers in the room showed an ability to stay on track with his show whilst keeping the 99.9% of the audience on side. Definitely cannot wait to see him return.
