Korn in Concert
Since 1993, Korn has pushed boundaries, combining traditional heavy metal with elements of hip-hop, grunge, and alternative rock. They are considered pioneers of the Nu Metal genre, and the band's founders name the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Faith No More as their earliest influences. Korn's ignition of the Nu Metal spark inspired a long list of performers to create within the genre. Examples include Coal Chamber, Slipknot, and Limp Bizkit. Korn released their twelfth studio album, The Serenity of Suffering, on October 21, 2016. Guitarist Brian "Head" Welch has said that the album is "heavier than anyone's heard us in a long time". Korn promoted this release during their 2017 tour, The Serenity of Summer. Other Korn tours include 2013's The Reunion Tour with Head, 2011's The Path of Totality Tour, the 2010 Ballroom Blitz Tour, the 2009 Escape from the Studio Tour, the 2007 Bitch We Have a Problem Tour, the 2005 See You on the Other Side World Tour, the 2002 Untouchables Tour, and the 2000 Sick and Twisted Tour. In addition, Korn's recurring Family Values Tour took the band across the United States in 1998, 1999, 2001, 2006, and 2007. In 2013, Korn resurrected the Family Values Tour as a one-day Family Values Music Festival. Listening to a recording is nothing like being at a Korn show, no matter how loud the stereo goes. Fans go to live performances again and again to feel the powerful music pulse through their bodies. They often comment on the consistent energy and passion in Korn live performances, and venues are typically packed. Expect to be on your feet the entire time, and keep an eye out for the mosh pit that always forms right in front of the stage. Shows are a mix of new and old, including long-time favorites such as Shoots and Ladders, No Place to Hide, Freak on a Leash, and Here to Stay. Korn has won numerous awards, including two Grammys and two MTV Video Music Awards.
Korn's founding members, James Shaffer, Reginald Arvizu, and David Silveria, started working together under the name L.A.P.D. They were based in Oakland, California. The group moved to Los Angeles, where they released two albums. After adding Brian Welch and Jonathan Davis, they renamed the band Korn and started recording at Underground Chicken Sound. By 1993, Korn played gigs fairly consistently, and they attracted the attention of Epic Records. This led to the release of their first demo album, Neidermayer's Mind, which was popular with fans who were excited about their unique sound.

I love Korn, have seen them in the past and was looking forward to it however my mom had become very ill so I couldn’t go which is why I’m glad I bought ticket insurance however it’s allot of hoops to jump through to get back your money but hopefully I will.. I hope they come back in the future and I can attend, much love to Korn 🖤
Fantastic Show: KORN fully delivered, and have fully won over a Fan! Gojira was excellent and heavy! Great light shows also... (I missed Loathe) (Also, a nice nod to Metallica, Queen and Ozzy... Appreciated!)
Went with my 24 year old daughter, we both knew all the songs, lol. Excellent performance, loved Gojira as well (didn't see the opener).
They put on a great show , really enjoyed it. I went with my husband and it was his first concert experience and he really enjoyed it.
Great show & good energy! We were stage left and it was cool to see the band enter/exit up close. Our tickets warned us that there may be visual obstructions but that wasn’t an issue. The sound was shit however. Couldn’t hear when anyone spoke and it was weirdly muffled maybe cause the speakers were all forward. Was a little disappointing especially with it being our sons first time
Korn and Gojira were both bucket list bands for me, so when they decided to tour together I knew we had to make the trip to Edmonton. It was incredible. A show of a life time at a great venue. Still riding the high 3 days later!

I had an amazing time at korn. As with the last couple of concerts at rogers place though, the vocals are heard waaay less than hoped for. All I could hear was the instruments.
Over all...AWESOME! The drinks/food could be cheaper. Korn could've played longer.
Gojira was absolutely outstanding !! So glad I was able to see them live and will definitely be waiting for them to perform here again !! Korn was amazing. I hadn’t seen them before and I was just floored by how good they were !!
Korn put on an AMAZING show and they sound just as good as they did when they first came on the scene, over 30 years ago!! I will always love them and as far as the show itself, wicked lights, backdrops and engagement. Thank you Korn for another unforgettable night 🫀🎶🤘🏻
Korn did not disappoint. The energy was insane and the light display was amazing 🤘🔥 Only wish there were more screens to catch all the action, but overall an unforgettable show!
This was a once in a lifetime opportunity, I got to see Korn with two of my kids, I will never forget it. Scratch one off my bucketlist for sure! Awesome show, amazing music!
This was an awesome experience and I got to hear two new bands that I haven't heard of like Gojira and I'm sorry for forgetting the first band that played but holy crap that was an a experience I'll never forget in my life
Korn was amazing. Was so awesome seeing them after so many years. Definitely worth the money. Openers not a fan of their music but performance based really good

Second time seeing Korn they put on a great show. Crowd was pumped. But the merch lines were insanely long and $65 for a hat or t-shirt and $140 for a hoodie is straight up robbery!
Been a Korn fan since Korn’s first Album! Best concert I have been to so far. First Sold out show I have been to! The Tour is well organized from every one involved setting up the Show. I have been going to the Saddle dome in Calgary since 1988! It was moving to see the sold out show and seeing a new Generation of Korn fans! I would go to see Korn Again in a heartbeat in Calgary. Rock on 🤘
One of the best shows I have attended. The Korn set list was amazing, heavy with classics, and they sound the same if not better than they did 30 years ago! Gojira is such a talented band, but the drummer is definitely the shining star! The energy at this show was off the hook, and definitely recommend this tour to anyone who loves metal!
Sound was good! Venue was good. Only complaint was the huge speakers on the sides of the stage for Korn that blocked the band some of the time. All bands rocked the show
