First time seeing queensryche live, amazing performance even though they only played old stuff that I didn't recognize.
Wonderful evening of rock at Theatre Beanfield in Montreal with Armored Saint and Queensryche! Great performances, sound, lights and overall experience from all the parties. I surely recommend to all!!🤘👏👏🙌🏻
95% new songs that no one knows!! No one wants to hear the new material from an 80s band!! Know your audience!!!!!
solid band. tight one hour set. would like to have seen a better turnout. tough on a sunday night.
I was so pleasantly surprised by this show. They looked and sounded like a young band. And even though it was at a small venue, it came off like a show of much bigger proportions. The lights, sound and video and sound effects were almost to the level of bigger arena shows. I would strongly suggest that anyone who is a hard rock or metal fan check them out live!!!!
Awesome set list. Great sound. Amazing performance.
Todd La Torre Is an excellent replacement for state. Don’t let “it’s not the original singer” view stop you from seeing this show.
Queensryche has been infused with some MAJOR young and powerful voice, so reminiscent of the young version of Geoff Tate, that by the first song you are more than willing to give De La Torre a chance, and by the second one you are won over his voice and his stage presence. This is planned, because, luckily, Q is clearly not a band dependant of their "golden years", but a band resurging into a new golden era and they show this attitude by giving their newest albums the importance they deserve, even opening with a track from their new release. I know Todd has been with Q for years now, but this is the first time I see them live with him, and I will see them again immediately if we ever cross paths in the future. Don't miss them!
Thought they were good,,maybe should’ve came with a opening act !!!!!
Some of the (very few) previous reviews are under the wrong band name. Yes, this was a 2016 Queensryche show, but anything in the past few years with Geoff Tate would not have been under this name. His band is Operation: Mindcrime. That said, this version of the band, though not the 'original' lineup, still sounds virtually identical, right down to the amazing vocals of La Torre. I was very pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the show and the energy. I understand how one might not be thrilled that this isn't the original lineup, but if you like the tunes I still recommend fans of all Queensryche albums - in whatever time period they were released - to go see THIS version of the band. Also of note, they opened for Scorpions so the setlist was abbreviated.
