Soo good to finally see Korn live in Calgary!! However the column right in the middle of the stage really sucked for everyone. I don't know, maybe the stage could have been pulled infront of it? Might just be a small flaw in the venue. But the cleaning staff were impressive! Hardly any garbage was left on the ground for long. I also liked the presence of the security/police; saw them haul a few rowdies out.
The show was amazing, the band is truly great. I was very impressed. The crowd were awesome! It was a very good experience.
Loved every minute and they left me wanting more. It's such a delight to go see a band that you've always wanted to see live (but never have), whose songs you've known by heart from high school and who are totally professional showmen! I think this was the best concert I've ever seen. I just wished they played more songs (I was really hoping for Twist and Wicked but that never happened). I'd definitely go see them again!
Went to the korn concert last night and it was great. Ears will probably be ringing for the rest f the week. They played all but a few of their best songs. Their new stuff was okay, and their encore had less flare than was expected. Other then I have no complaints about the band. The venue had some issues with giant pillars which i understand are for supporting the roof but 3 of them 50 feet out from the stage in a standing room only gets in the way of alot of the people who just want to stand and watch (I wasnt one of them) also no coat check and a vip area from jagermeister that had a wopping 7 people in it . And 4 of those were some nice looking jager girls. Id give the music a 4.5/5 the venue and 3/5 and the abundance of tight leather wearing tatooed hotties a 6/5.
super good sound in the QE theater !!super sad there was no gen admission though, they rocked soooo hard i just wanted to rock out too. all in all that was the only bad thing... that and the massive bruise on my leg from the chair in front me getting in the way!!!!
The venue was a little small I thought for a band like Korn but other than that... WOW - what a performance ! My 15 yr old daughters first concert EVER !!! I've been a fan of Korn for many years but finaly it worked out to see them live. I've seen over 30 concerts so far and this was definatley in the top 5
Korn was totally DISAPPOINTING! Absolutely NO interaction with the crowd. The band members looked sad and bored. I was 1st row, touching the gate. I swear Jonathan was lip syncing most of the time, it was a pathetic. They have no heart in playing their music, they play just for the $...they forget, without US fans they'd be nothing! I saw Alice in Chains in Feb and they were amazing. I saw Slayer/Megadeth and Down last year and they were awesome. I will never pay to see Korn again and DO NOT recommend spending $ to see them live. If he was sick then id rather an artist cancel the show with the attitude of "if i cant put on the best show for my fans then i wont play" then ill lip sync and rake in the cash.
I though Korn was, as always, amazing live but the first opener "2cents" was worth just that: 2¢. I was willing to give them a chance but when the lead singer started spitting up in the air, catching it on it's way down then smacking it on his forehead like he "should have had a V8!" I just had to hurl. What makes these guys think that that's cool? I would have hated to be the security up front 'cause I noticed many a gob launched on them. I have no complaints about "Five Finger Death Punch", not my kinda music either but it got us all in the mood for Korn. Korn was intense and never fails to rock the house down. I would have liked to see opening bands in more of the same genre. Can't wait to see them again, I'll go every time.
I am not sure if its the sound engineer, the equipment, or the theater...but Jonathan Davis Voice was low all the time, I guess something could have been better with the sound!
It was the third time that I had the opportunity to see KoRn in concert and I say... I'll be there again! KoRn is one of my favorite bands. Their performance was as usual, outstanding. They gave everything! They played a good variety through their multiple albums. For sure, I would have heard more and more, but I was more than pleased with their selection.
I thought Korn could have been out there a bit longer, but overall I though it was a great show. It was LOUD :D. It's been quite some time since I'd seen Korn, their sickness was back!!!!
I loved the concert, but i was a little bit bummed when the instrumentals were louder than the band, They should have just turned the instrumentals down and the mic up a bit. Other than that it was great. Definately go again.
great show korn was incredable like all ways, needed a better mosh pit!!!
The music and the onstage antics combined put on a great show. The singer has got a great voice, consistent to the band's recordings. We noticed that he was taking oxygen in between songs. See this band while you still can!
This show was fantastic!!! So much energy!!! they give you 110%!!!! Can't wait to see them again!!
I really hope Korn comes back. Out of all the days they could come to Calgary they pick the day I am going to be getting married. Hmmm? I wonder if she would understand?
Korn kicked some serious butt at the DECC in Duluth! I would definately go back to see them in a heart beat! I couldnt stop jumping during the entire show...they were WICKED...I would recommend to anyone to see them!
Couldn't get enough of it. It was our first time seeing Korn and they lived up to what we had hoped. Loud, energetic, and included a bagpipe solo.
The music was great and their performances were ourstanding. Burn Halo had great songs too.
