About

Kylie Minogue is a Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter who’s sold over 80 million records worldwide. “Australia’s Queen of Pop” is also the highest-selling female artist in the country’s history. After launching into the stratosphere with a series of pop hits in the ‘80s, Minogue would reinvent herself on albums like Impossible Princess (1997) and her dance-pop masterpiece Fever (2001), which included the Billboard Hot 100 hit “Can't Get You Out of My Head,” as well as fan favorites like "Come into My World." Since 1989, Minogue has embarked on fifteen international concert tours, and has established herself as an LGBTQ+ icon and touring powerhouse. The Aussie superstar continued her cosmic ascent with 2023’s “Padam Padam,” a global hit that set the stage for Minogue’s next era and sixteenth studio album, Tension.

    Unforgettable night

by christianG on 2009-10-13Air Canada Centre - Toronto

I have been to a lot of concerts but this is the first time I actually danced so much. Almost 2 hours long to be exact! Everyone there were up in arms dancing, singing, waving and clapping. In between songs, Kylie would take the time to talk to her devoted fans which surprised me as I had no clue she was so charming and down-to-earth. It was refreshing to see giving her status as being as huge as Madonna on the other side of the pond. The more the night progressed with her costume changes and wonderful hits the more her fans (I included) did not wish to part ways and say goodbye. It was definitely ''Love At First Sight''. Now there are rumours saying that she is being offered a permenent residency in Las Vegas. If she accepts, I will definitely go to see her show and this will finally give me a reason to visit Vegas once and for all.

    Kylie didn't cater to Canada

by TorontoBoys on 2009-10-13Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Don't get me wrong, the concert was great. However somebody in our group pointed out that Kylie's entire act (except for a single Canadian flag) was all covered in stars. And I had to agree... A lot of the costumes appeared to cater to an American-only audience. I realize that she only had one stop in Canada, but she could have put a little more effort into it seeing as she only had one stop here in Canada and it was her first concert here. We left the concert early.

    KYLIE MINOGUE

by Discorino on 2009-10-13Air Canada Centre - Toronto

I was very surprised and blown away from the KYlie concert October 9th. She had great dancers and moves herself. Very elaborate lights, costumes and videos and right up there with a Madonna concert. Well done Kylie hope to see you again sometime.

    Kylie took Canada by storm....

by Musicman68 on 2009-10-13Air Canada Centre - Toronto

An electrifying show, full of fun, amazing costumes, fantastic back up dancers and a non stop party. Kylie genuinely looked exstatically happy when she descended from the ceiling atop a Giant Black Sparkly Skull... The evening was a tremendously put together look back on her Pop Princess career of over 20 years... The debut of her brand new single form the not yet finished upcoming new album was a complete surprise, and welcomed by all, who had caught on to the chorus by the end of the second verse... Certainly one of the most memorable concerts Ive seen in my 15 years of serious concerts... putting Madonna's Confessions tour to task... Amazing Show.. If you can get tickets, GET THEM... Dont sit around.. Not to be Missed !!!

by RickyDee on 2009-10-13Air Canada Centre - Toronto

This was a fantastic show! She looked & sounded amazing, the setlist was a perfect mix of old & new and she was incredibly personable & just gosh-darned sweet. The audience was very warm & receptive to her as well and I hope this encourages her to come back & do more shows here.

Kylie Minogue was fantastic. Dancers not.

by skoumo on 2009-10-12Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Overall the show was superb and I would absolutely go again. However, I have seen Kylie's performance before and was not really impressed with the dancers she had. I don't know if they were new, or having an off day but they were way out of sync. I recorded some videos and it is pretty apparent that they were not as good as in England. So that was a little disappointing seeing that the tickets were a little over $100 each and it wasn't spot on as it used to be. But Kylie was right in tune and the singing was great. The overall show was good, however, with the England show much more was done costume wise. But it was good and I love Kylie and I would totally go again. She has my full support. Oh and she forgot or maybe planned it, but did not sing Nu-di-ty! That was sad. That would have been awesome.

by sayhey on 2009-10-12Air Canada Centre - Toronto

to see Kylie again!!! :) It was so much fun she had us all dancing! She put on an absolutely amazing show, I just wish I didn't have to wait 10 years to see in her in Canada. It was the best concert I've ever seen! She is wonderfully talented and sang every note perfectly. I highly recommend her concert to anyone who is lucky enough to get the chance to see her!

Kylie in Canada: 22 years wait and worth it!

by RogerT on 2009-10-12Air Canada Centre - Toronto

I wasn't sure what to expect from the Kylie Minogue concert at the ACC this past Friday night. I had just come off a long drive into Toronto from Montreal to see the Aussie superstar, and have no regrets about it. 22 years ago I was introduced to her while living Europe as a tween, and have never forgotten her talent for catchy pop tunes. I followed her career when I moved to Canada and saw her through highs and lows, including surviving breast cancer...and was thoroughly ecstatic and the quality and level of performance she carried out during the concert. From the strange designer outfits, to the sexy almost-nude dancers, Kylie put on a show that only she would know how. Her humbleness was apparent at many moments during the 2-hour set, and that made the crowd of almost 10,000 love her! She is a big star in the gay community for her dance tunes, and she did not disappoint as she delivered dancefloor gems like "Can't get you out of my head,""Come into my world,""Shocked," and "Your disco needs you" as a grand finale....I just wish I had heard her sing "Especially for you," her big number one hit from 1989, which was a duet with then ex-boyfriend Jason Donovan...but you can't have it all....thank you Kylie for coming to North America finally! We love you and please come back!

    Phenomenal Kylie

by twosisters on 2009-10-12Air Canada Centre - Toronto

It took decades for Kylie to come to North America, and it was absolutely worth the wait. A high energy, glamorous, fun show, featuring a good mix of old hits and newer ones, that had everyone on their feet, singing and dancing along for over two hours (no intermission). What's more, Kylie looked like she was enjoying it as much as the audience was. This is one popstar who doesn't lip-synch in concert, which is a treat. Well worth every penny. Ending the encore with "Love At First Sight" was an inspired choice. Come again soon, Kylie -- we love you!!!

by Bnvc on 2009-10-12Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Before being kicked out for something I was wasn't doing, it was amazing. Kylie and sing and entertain. Only rare artists can do it, I find. She did it. It was absolute perfection. Hopefully, she comes back.

by tallguy106 on 2009-10-12Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Amazing concert, she puts on quite a show, funky devo styled choreography, hot dancers, stunning lcd movable video panels that really extended the show. Much more vocal range than I give her credit for.Glad she didn't use the venue for trying out new stuff, as so many artists do, she stuck to her genre and did it with gusto. nice there was no need for an opening act!

    Kylie - wow, wow, wow,wow!

by moomoomark on 2009-10-12Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Not a patch on the Showgirl tour in Manchester's MEN and none of Kylie's tours will ever eclipse that of the Apollo in Manchester but for Kylie's first North American tour this was still simply brilliant. Having found out tickets were on sale the day after we immigrated to Canada from the UK it felt like this was the best 'welcome to Canada,' gift anyone could give us - and Kylie didn't diappoint. Exuding style and brilliance in everything she did the sets were amazing ; the dancers spectacular and the backing singers superb. Not sure whether Robbie would be happy about his replacement on 'kids' but the singer was brilliant - and the Black Box sample - fantastic. I just hope and pray she comes back again soon! (But what happened to On a Night Like this?)
