About

Taking the world by storm, MAYHEM continues to dominate the charts. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, marking Gaga’s seventh consecutive No. 1 album. In its second week, it remains one of the biggest releases of the year, maintaining Top 2 positions across key charts including No. 2 on the Billboard 200, Digital Albums, and US LP Vinyl Albums charts. It also retains the No. 1 spot on both the Billboard Top Pop Albums chart and the Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart for the second consecutive week—the latter of which earned Gaga her eighth career No. 1 on the tally, making her the most successful artist of all time in the chart’s history. She now stands alone with the most No. 1 albums ever on the Dance/Electronic Albums chart.
The fastest-selling international release of the year, MAYHEM debuted at No. 1 in 12 countries, including the U.S., UK, Germany, Japan, Italy, Canada, Australia, France, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, and South Korea, and landed at No. 2 in the Netherlands and Sweden—further cementing Gaga’s global dominance. “Abracadabra” entered the UK Singles Chart at No. 3 and the UK Airplay Chart at No. 2, while in France, MAYHEM posted the biggest first-week sales since Born This Way. In Japan, it ranked among the biggest international albums in recent years; in Finland, it was the only international album to crack the Top 10; and in Ireland, three MAYHEM tracks landed in the Top 40—reinforcing its worldwide impact.

In its first week alone, MAYHEM amassed over 240 million streams worldwide, marking her biggest streaming week ever. It also marked her biggest vinyl week to date, with 74,000 units sold across 14 collectible variants, some of which featured exclusive bonus tracks like “Kill for Love” and “Can’t Stop the High.” The digital edition of the album includes music videos for “Die With a Smile,” “Disease,” and “Abracadabra,” all of which helped fuel the album’s massive first week impact.

“Die With a Smile,” Gaga’s collaboration with Bruno Mars, continues to break records, holding the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Global 200 chart for a 13th consecutive week. With more than 100 million streams worldwide each week, the track is now tied for the third-longest-running No. 1 in chart history.

MAYHEM marks a return to Gaga’s pop roots, reaffirming that she is a master of reinvention, crafting an album that is as bold and eclectic as it is deeply personal. A declaration of artistic freedom, it embraces the fractured pieces of oneself and how they come together to form something unexpected and beautiful. The album mirrors this concept with its diverse sonic palette and thematic layers, combining elements of chaos, defiance, and vulnerability into a cohesive artistic statement. Gaga describes this process as assembling a shattered mirror: “Even if you can’t put the pieces back together perfectly, you can create something memorable and whole in its own way.

  • LaGAGA saves the show...

by BigCDN on 2009-11-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The tickets said 7:30, but Lady Gaga didn't hit the stage until about 10:30. Semi Precious Weapons were not that great, but were better entertainers than Kid Cudi... he was so low energy, he's no good live even if he does have a couple "hits"... but the energy was up and down because of the LONG intermissions between acts. LaGAGA brought the energy up and did an amazing job keeping it up for the whole performance... even when the audience was obviously less familiar with her new songs. She made up for the long boring delays and mediocre (at best) opening acts.

  • Amazing and unforgettable

by Romik on 2009-11-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Kid CuDi was DA MAN on the stage. Lady Gaga is always so unpredictable, po-po-po-po-po-po-ker face =)

  • Well it was interesting.

by Summergrl on 2009-11-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

Kid Cudi and Semi Precious Weapons defy words!! Embarrassing and lacking any talent comes to mind. In fact i am fairly certain Kid Cudi was lip syncing. The wait time between acts and during costume changes for Lady G was just way too long. Made things boring. The 'show your claws monsters' thing got very old as the concert progressed. Lady G's vocal and musical talent is outstanding. I wish she would present herself with a little more class. The sound system was great, her voice didnt disappoint. It was an ok night out but glad i didnt spend any more money on tickets.

  • BEST CONCERT OF MY LIFE

    by dani666 on 2009-11-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Can't even explain how amazing this was haha. COME BACK IMMEDIATLY. MINDBLOWING.

  • I LOVE GAGA =)

by pinkdelicious on 2009-11-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

In the beginning, when Semi-Precious Metals performed, I was quite shocked actually. They were terrible. I can't appreciate their music. Following their performance there was a half hour gap to set up for Kid Cudi, better transitioning between artists would have been a lot better... After Kid Cudi's performance, there was another empty gap of no performances where we would be just standing and waiting or sitting and waiting. Then GaGa came on at 10PM and performed for two hours, the concert was AMAZING. Lady GaGa performed so energetically and expressively. You can really tell she loves her fans and has a passion for music. I was standing right in front of the stage, so I had an extremely fantastic time when GAGA performed.

  • Gaga for Gaga!

by Tizarazzi on 2009-11-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! Great performance, great sets and costumes, great dances, and, most importantly, Gaga had an incredible rapport with the audience. I'd attend again tonight if she was performing.

  • Lady Gaga was unforgettable!

by ReelJustine on 2009-11-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time seeing Lady Gaga in person and the energy she brings to her audience is amazing! She definitely has her own style when it comes to her music, from wild costume changes to her dancers and sets. She gets her audience moving with her, calling us the "little monsters." I would recommend her to anyone that enjoys a fun, energetic and truly weird (but in a good way!) concert!

  • GaGa concert was fantastic! The Crowd was wild!

by BlueBlueBlueJay on 2009-11-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Show started close to on time "Start Time" It had 2 opening acts. First band, _ _ Weapons (I have forgotten the first two ords) was good, second act Kid Cudi was terible. Not sure who signed hime ot his record deal. He sings flat and for too long. I'd cut him off the tour. Totally stinks. I'd boot him off the ticket, to make the show more compact. The crowd was wild. I met VIPS from her Intercope Records and the company making her headsets..they drove in from Montreal and they told me Toronto was wild. Montreal was more subdued. There was definitely something in the beer last night. Lady GaGa was phenominal. Seeing and hearing a LIVE singing voice in the era of Lipsyncing Britney Spears, Beyonce and to a certain degree, Madonna..was a nice clange. Most of the first part of her show featured the new songs from her upgraded, relaunched "The Fame Monster" double disc set,. formerly the single disc "The Fame". She has started to move away from the younger set who were at the "All Ages" group that got to see her in last club performance, in June at the club "Kool Haus". There was alot of different age groups..all there tio see the great vocalist that we have all seen sing on TV shows like Ellen and Jay Leno. It was a great show. I would cut Kid Cudi. he came across as a No talent on a talent ticket.

  • Lady Gaga was AMAZING!!!!

by Poprincess on 2009-11-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I thought that this concert was 200% better than I expected. I like the fact that she performed a range of songs and the order in which she sang the songs were GR8! I love that she interacted with the audience and truly appreciates her fans. Only negative, I wish the breaks between SemiPrecious Weapons, Kim Cudi and Lady Gaga was a bit shorter but overall great job on chosing the groups before her, they were not boring! Lady Gaga was 300% better than the Britney Spears Circus concert and would definitely go back to see her if she comes back to Toronto!!

  • Lady Gaga was very entertaining

by mlteach on 2009-11-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Lady Gaga put on a very entertaining show. The only real complain I had was that she took forever to come on. It wasn't until 10:15 she came on while the concert was suppose to start at 7:30. Even when we got there they wouldn't let us go sit down and i knew she wasn't coming on till very late. Her set list played all the crowd pleasers and the dancing was incredible. Some pacing problems with the elaborate videos playing as it dind't let the show flow very well. Also way too much swearing for an artist that children like. The opening acts were decent too. Semi Precious Weapons were horrible and ill probably never hear about them again. Kid Cudi was very good. Would have liked it if he had a band out instead of a DJ. Always think rappers do better with band whether then just a DJ

  • Gaga was awesome, vip was aweful.

by dissapointedwithvip on 2009-11-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 1 out of 5

note: Given a one star rating for service, not Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga was without a doubt five stars. Lady Gaga's show was wonderful and lived up to expectations. However, I purchased the meet and greet package for myself and a friend. Firstly we were ushered into a line up in the ACC where we waited for over an hour after the given check in time provided to us. Then we waited in another line up where we waited for more wristbands, upon reciving the next wristband we were ushered into a holding room. Once in the holding room we recived a drink and a vegtable roll. Platters were going around but never got to the front tables nor was anything else offered to us. We all sat in this holding room for two and a half hours where we then were told that we could go down to the show and be seated. At this point we stood in yet another three line ups and got into the venue the same time as all the other ticket holders. Upon being brought in we had NO seats avaible to us on the floor (where in every other show I've ever been there had been seats), because of this my friend and I ended up having to stand off towards the back end of the crowd and being of short stature I had a very hard time seeing any of the show. After waiting for over an hour for the first opening act to set up the show started well over an hour late. The first opening act was nothing good, nor did anyone seem to actually enjoy them. Kid Cudi finially brought some talent to the stage and has wonderful stage presences, although we had no idea who he was (until Day and Night came on), we very much enjoyed his part and what he brought to the show. After the depature of Kid Cudi we waited about another half hour for Gaga, who finially took the stage after 9:45 when the show was to start at 7:30. All in all as a "vip meet and greet" ticket holder, I got nothing I was promised when I purchased the tickets. We never got to meet Lady Gaga, left high and dry for the "pre-party" still have yet to recieve my merchandise. Extremely disappointed with the over all "vip" experience and will never purchase it again for anything.

  • The best concert I have ever seen!

by StraightMaleinToronto on 2009-11-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Finally, a true artist exists once again. Not since Madonna and Michael Jackson has someone had the courage, skills, and, ability to be a well rounded, non cookie-cut, artist. This concert was Lady Gaga at her finest. Not only does she have an amazing voice live, she is every bit as good a performer as you see on television at the awards shows. Great costumes, great dancing, great singing....sleepy Toronto was all on their feet for the Lady, and, you seldom see that at a concert in Toronto! This is a must see concert.

  • Gaga was GOLD!

by Estes on 2009-11-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Calling all those Madonna Fans out there, you better move over because LADY GAGA has enter the building. This new 23 yr old power house is changing the rules when it comes entertainment. The moment she stepped out of the Glass Cube on stage she captured out hearts with the Ballads laid out. CANADA still, and will ALWAYS, love you for EVER!

  • WOW

by LittleMonster on 2009-11-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I had the bad seats I have ever had for a concert and that was still the most amazing concert. You can see her influences from people like Madonna but she is in a category of her own. Awesome vocals, costumes, videos and dancing. An amazing performer with a sailors mouth. I will go see the next one for sure.

  • Lady Gaga Rocked!!!!

by Anonymous on 2009-11-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

I thought Lady Gaga put on a great preformance, she seemed a little nervous at first but soon brought the show to life. I would go see her again for sure!!

  • INCREDiBLE

  • Speechless

    by GUS2007 on 2009-11-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The set was so cool and unique. When her section started and that countdown began on that screen, I could barely hear myself think! People were going insane for her! Of course, I did as well. Every single aspect of her concert was amazing. The costumes, the set, you can tell how much work she put into it. Every second I look back at it, I can only think of it as a dream Lady Gaga is an amazing ARTIST..

  • by wundermom on 2009-11-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

Was too long, the middle of the concert was REALLY boring. The beginning and the finale were amazing, though.

Amazing night of music and theatre. She kept the sold out house on their feet for the entire show.

The talented Lady Gaga performed at Toronto's ACC and put on an amazing. Costumes and sets, dancing, piano solos, and no lip-synching. Her concert was raw and her banter with the audience was fun too.
