About

Taking the world by storm, MAYHEM continues to dominate the charts. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, marking Gaga’s seventh consecutive No. 1 album. In its second week, it remains one of the biggest releases of the year, maintaining Top 2 positions across key charts including No. 2 on the Billboard 200, Digital Albums, and US LP Vinyl Albums charts. It also retains the No. 1 spot on both the Billboard Top Pop Albums chart and the Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart for the second consecutive week—the latter of which earned Gaga her eighth career No. 1 on the tally, making her the most successful artist of all time in the chart’s history. She now stands alone with the most No. 1 albums ever on the Dance/Electronic Albums chart.
The fastest-selling international release of the year, MAYHEM debuted at No. 1 in 12 countries, including the U.S., UK, Germany, Japan, Italy, Canada, Australia, France, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, and South Korea, and landed at No. 2 in the Netherlands and Sweden—further cementing Gaga’s global dominance. “Abracadabra” entered the UK Singles Chart at No. 3 and the UK Airplay Chart at No. 2, while in France, MAYHEM posted the biggest first-week sales since Born This Way. In Japan, it ranked among the biggest international albums in recent years; in Finland, it was the only international album to crack the Top 10; and in Ireland, three MAYHEM tracks landed in the Top 40—reinforcing its worldwide impact.

In its first week alone, MAYHEM amassed over 240 million streams worldwide, marking her biggest streaming week ever. It also marked her biggest vinyl week to date, with 74,000 units sold across 14 collectible variants, some of which featured exclusive bonus tracks like “Kill for Love” and “Can’t Stop the High.” The digital edition of the album includes music videos for “Die With a Smile,” “Disease,” and “Abracadabra,” all of which helped fuel the album’s massive first week impact.

“Die With a Smile,” Gaga’s collaboration with Bruno Mars, continues to break records, holding the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Global 200 chart for a 13th consecutive week. With more than 100 million streams worldwide each week, the track is now tied for the third-longest-running No. 1 in chart history.

MAYHEM marks a return to Gaga’s pop roots, reaffirming that she is a master of reinvention, crafting an album that is as bold and eclectic as it is deeply personal. A declaration of artistic freedom, it embraces the fractured pieces of oneself and how they come together to form something unexpected and beautiful. The album mirrors this concept with its diverse sonic palette and thematic layers, combining elements of chaos, defiance, and vulnerability into a cohesive artistic statement. Gaga describes this process as assembling a shattered mirror: “Even if you can’t put the pieces back together perfectly, you can create something memorable and whole in its own way.

  • Worth the Long Wait

by JLDO on 2009-11-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Lady Gaga's performance was absolutely amazing. One of the best shows I have ever seen. She actually sings live and it is fantastic. The second opening act was too long and the time in between acts was long as well, with Lady Gaga not starting until after 10 pm.

  • Gaga for Gaga

    by shibby13 on 2009-11-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

This will be short and sweet, I fully enjoyed Lady Gaga. There were a few bumps in the set, like a weird awkward pseudo-breakdown of tears 1/3 of the way into the show, and the awkward long pauses in between songs for costume changes and the profanity but other than that she was fantastic. She sounded great, the costumes were amazing, the set was impressive, she sang almost all of the songs from both albums. Very good time! What I was less impressed with was the time before she came on. She didn't start until almost 3 hours after the ticket start time. I enjoyed the antics of the first band, semi precious weapons, while the music might not have been totally my style they were fun to watch in their insane-ness. Kid Cudi, I was absolutely not into. I feel he was a poor choice of an opening act as the crowds that would like Kid Cudi don't seem to be the same people who would be Gaga fans. The sound mixing was poor, you could barely hear what he was saying because the music was so distorted and the light show behind him was pitiful at best. And then there were the 45 minute breaks between each act and then gaga. it was very strange to have the singers come on to pump the crowd up and then leave and have everyone fall flat. The opening acts however are irrelevant, no one is there to see them. As long as gaga was good then i'm happy.

  • Gaga was rally good but the other acts....

by Anonymous on 2009-11-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Gaga was off the wall but amazing but her opening act semi precious weapons was horrible and completly forgetable. Kid Cudi was alright but not what I had expected. All in all just the Gaga portion of the show made it all worth while.

  • Lady Gaga the best.

by Anonymous on 2009-11-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I didn't like Semi Precious Weapons. He was funnier when he didn't sing. Kid Cudi was good but the best was Lady Gaga. 2 hours of pure singing, dancing and she engages the audience. She actually talks to us. She was great!

  • AMZING

by breathehockey on 2009-11-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

So i was on the floor which was GA. waited in line from 3:40-8pm. the concert was suppost to start at 7:30pm. Ya late. then we finally get let in and the stage isnt done yet and semi precious weapons is not set up. Kid Cudi took a while to set up and Gaga didnt come on until 10:20. BESIDES THAT (the waiting), the show was amazing. i thought that i would not like the opening acts....but i was wrong. props to them for holding their own and putting on great shows. Gaga is a genius. She blew my mind. i knew that the oncert was going to be good... but i had no idea how good. she dances and sings live unlike other performers. I just dont know what else to say.... it was AMAZING.cant wait until she comes back... wont be on the floor though

  • Lady Gaga concert amazing!

by GagaCanuckFan on 2009-11-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

In her true form, Lady Gaga put on a spectacular show for her fans last night at the Air Canada Center. Her voice was remarkable and her show of appreciation for her Canadian fans was great to hear. Singing all her favourites was interspersed with songs from her albums not heard on the radio yet, she inspired her fans to keep on loving her!

  • There is no one like her.. Just amazing!

by lesliestar on 2009-10-28The Commodore - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

When Gaga first came on stage I fell in love with her performing technique. She puts her all into her performance and you can tell she is very passionate about it. Her show was amazing when I went last year at The Commodore. I am going again and will keep going every time she comes to Vancouver!!!

  • lady gaga was alright

    by sexyangelsam28 on 2009-08-06Kool Haus - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

I was soo exicted for this concert. the show was suppose to start at like 8pm but she came two hours late and no explanation of why. I was upset because the dj getting the crowd hyped up and then she didn't come out for an extremely long time. However when she did come she put on a good show, minus the talk about masterbation since it was a all ages show

  • Standing up for Lady Gaga

by mkhuyn on 2009-08-04Kool Haus - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

I definitely can't wait until Lady Gaga starts playing in larger venues...with seats!!! The doors opened at around 8 p.m., but everyone was left waiting for about 2.5 hours until Gaga came out. My legs hurt from standing and I had to stay standing in one spot. But boy was it worth it! Seeing all of her amazing outfits and hearing her sing was definitely worth the wait. The one thing I didn't like was the scum bags in the audience. Everyone behind me was pushing to try to get closer to the front, and a few stupid girls tried lying their way to get to the front by saying they had a friend in the front row. Besides that, Lady Gaga was amazing! She always has interesting things to say in between songs. Not only did she perform 2 versions of Poker Face. She also played the piano with her legs wide open on the piano bench, while wearing her infamous bubble suit!!!!

  • Lady Gaga: a star in the making

    by Chrissy005 on 2009-07-29Kool Haus - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Ladygaga's performance at the koolhaus was simply unreal. She gave an authentic and typical lady gaga performance while still remaining down to earth and connecting with the audience. A great show!

  • Lady Gaga was Worth the WAIT!

    by vl87 on 2009-07-27Kool Haus - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Lady Gaga was incredible, but the WAIT was not. She sang FUTURE LOVE that was a new song and it was one of my favorite songs of the concert. Her voice is amazing and I will definitely attend more of her concerts in the near future. Hopefully, she won't come out 3.5 hours late.

  • GAGA is fabulous!

    by KC212009 on 2009-07-26Kool Haus - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing new outfits, good use of props. Spoke to audience between songs, sexy backup dancers. Poor lighting at Kool Haus, Circa is a better venue.

  • better late than never

  • GaGa was crowded...

by emilyxox on 2009-07-21Kool Haus - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

While going to see Lady GaGa was phenomenal, we couldn't see anything.

  • Lady Gaga is amazing

    by Lioness88 on 2009-07-19Kool Haus - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

She's an innovator, a talented performer, and an energetic force onstage. She put on an amazing show, with complex dance sequences, accoustic interludes, and her signature raw, agressive, and sexy songs. I didn't appreciate her coming to stage 45 mins late, or the opening act (some random DJ) stopping his set halfway cos his laptop froze, but her show definitely made up for it all. She was the only one who could have saved that situation and the calmed the audience's restlessness.

  • Lady Gaga!

by donal on 2009-07-19Kool Haus - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I have to say it seems woman artists are the ones putting their all into their music and it shows. Awesome night gaga!

  • LAdy GaGa is amazing

by beauisamaizng on 2009-07-17Kool Haus - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Lady GaGa gave the best preformance i have EVER seen. She has an incredible voice and is truly the only real pop star at the moment. Her concery was amazing and everyone should see it.

  • Lady Gaga - was good but was it worth the wait?

by Pink on 2009-07-17Kool Haus - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

the show was slated to start at 8pm, so me and my friend thought ok, there'll be opening acts and whatnot so we went there at 8:45pm and they just started letting people in. we got in at 9pm. so, ok, maybe she will come out at around 10pm.. however, the show didn't start until 11pm! she was good but the waiting is brutal, it took the fun away cuz i was pissed and my friend actually had to leave cuz he felt sick with just being there standing for hours in the crowd.

  • amazing.

by xoalicia on 2009-07-17Kool Haus - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

her voice live is amazing and unforgettable. her wardrobe was obviously the thing to pay attention to and the choreography was so fluid. i'd see her a thousand times over.

  • Lady GaGa, Kool Haus, Toronto

by cookiecircuit on 2009-07-16Kool Haus - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

House was full (or almost). Dunno why everyone complained that she came on stage so late. Did they really expect the show to start anywhere close to eight o'clock - just because the time is printed on your ticket, doesn't mean the shows gonna roll right then. We had a DJ spinning to keep us entertained. Other than that, the crowd was pretty hyped. Good venue - open space without seating. Lady GaGa is a great performer. Knows all the crowd pleasers and still keeps ya guessing as to what she's gonna do or say next.
