I didn't think I could love her anymore than I already did. She's so beautiful and talented. Definitely worth the wait
Despite all the bad press Lana gets for her show, this concert was great. She started right on time, sang absolutely beautifully and sang all the songs I was sooooo excited to hear.
I'm a huge fan of Lana and have been waiting for 3 years since she came back to Toronto... so when she announced this date I was very excited and hyped up! I had PIT tickets so I got there early in the morning and lined up in the cold weather... it was worth it I thought because I'll get to see her so close and up front. My goal is to be barricade which I got. The stage wasn't so big which was nice but the sound quality wasn't good. When lana came out, she started singing and it was really hard to hear her or what she said during the whole show. I couldn't hear half the words she sang. The show was short too, she started at 9pm and finished at 10:10. She didn't interact much with the fans as she does at her other shows sadly, and she mainly stood in the middle of the stage; not much stage presence. She seemed to be in her little own bubble, swaying every so often. The Pit was a mess because the fans were brutal - out of all my PIT experiences at concerts, this one was the worst. There was constant shoving, pushing, people shoving into your space and pushing your own arms apart and everything happening. People were passing out, fights happening, rudeness, and everything else you can imagine even BEFORE she got on. It was a mad house.
Venue: The ushers were extremely helpful and kind. They helped me find my seat in the dark. Opening Act: The opening act didn't really set the tone for what was to come in the concert. I personally thought his catalogue of songs were rather too slow to open a concert. This is just my opinion, though. Lana Del Rey: Fantastic. Amazing. Breath-taking. Her voice was spot-on and my seat was incredible!! Not in the pit area but it was still a good seat. Her band was also phenomenal. She played all of my favorite songs. I wish I could relive this night over and over again. Thankfully I was able to capture a few moments on my phone. Many pictures and videos. I would highly recommend both the artist AND the venue to my friends and/or family. Overall, it was a FANTASTIC night. Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. I'll never forget it!
The crowd knew every word and made sure to cheer with every curse word Lana beautifully sang. She changed the melodies in several songs which was awesome, her voice was perfect, although she never once said "toronto" or "canada" leading me to beleive she had no idea where she was, but regardless the show was fantastic, great small intimate venue in the sony centre.
Her vocals were amazing and i was so excited to see her live after so many years of being a huge fan!
