Lighthouse Tickets

The McPhillips St Station was the perfect venue for this intimate & very impressive show. I honestly wasn't sure how high to have my hopes in seeing one of my favorite bands from my early years as a music fan..some 40 years ago. But time has only been kind to these gifted musicians. I, and I suspect much of the audience, got the distinct feel that these guys were having a good time and we were all invited to the party. I loved Skips chit chat during shorts breaks from the set list that included the best of Lighthouse. It was pure pleasure listening to the amazing arrangements - the interplay of multiple instruments & voices woven and spun into an amazing mix of groves that rocked and rolled along into a great bloody show.

LIGHTHOUSE WAS ABSOLUTELY A FUN AND ENTERTAINING BAND TO SEE AND HEAR.AFTER 40 YEARS TOGETHER THEY'VE SHOWN WHY THEY'RE STILL AROUND.WITH THEY'RE EXCEPTIONAL MUSICIANSHIP,HARMONIES AND DAN CLANCY LEADING THE WAY ON VOCALS THIS BAND IS DEFINITELY WORTH AN ENCORE PERFORMANCE! THIS BAND HAS SUCH A CATALOGUE OF SONGS AND HITS THEY LEFT EVERYONE MORE THAN SATISFIED.

Impressed with the fact these guys have still got it after all these years. Energy, harmony, great musicians. Some of the songs I have not heard in years but memories of a.m. radio in the early 70's (my happy place) came flooding back while listening to these canadian classics. Worth every penny. Thanx Guys

Lighthouse a 10 member band hailing from Toronto (we won't hold that against them) formed in 1969 and gave everyone a great performance last night. The crowd listened to 40 years of their hits that spanned almost two hours. After the show the band was out signing autographs & crew was selling their newest CD & DVD release - Lighthouse 40 years of Sunny Days. A great buy! Recommend seeing them again & again.

Great concert! The replacement for Bob McBride is excellent. Great interaction with the crowd - the band is genuinely appreciative of the audience. I hope that they return in the future.

An impressive array of memorable hits, tight musicianship, and some quality new material.

Present incarnation of 10 band members has played together for 17 years so they are well polished. Three or four were founding members. Just about everyone sings in the band and the vocals and harmonies are great. The band played non-stop for over two hours, playing several songs for the encore. Lots of great tunes. One extended song that showcased several individuals playing solos. You know how sometimes it looks like a band is just up there going through the motions? Well they all seemed to be having a good time, great attitude, and appreciative of the audience. For a couple of their big hits I missed the bands original singer but the songs sounded great.

Wow! What a concert! Sounding better than ever! Eight piece band --four of them horns-- and a singer from Barrie Ont. who sings exactly like the original singer. Skip Prokop, the skipper of the crew, lead the crew to wonderfully tight original arrangements of ALL their hits plus a couple of new ones that rock. Several songs magically produced poingnant moments between audience and performers, a real tribute to this legendary band that can still do that as they always did. Unreal!! Festival Place was the perfect venue, just the right size with a scaled-down PA so no ears were damaged but every artist heard in a wonderful balanced sound. Highly recommended! Buy their new CD of remastered hits plus DVD for only $20. An evening to remember.
