About

LINKIN PARK emerged as an innovative musical force and are one of the best-selling artists of the last twenty years. Their RIAA Diamond-certified full-length debut, Hybrid Theory, stands out as the “best selling debut of the 21st century,” while landmark sophomore album Meteora bowed at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 before going 8x Platinum in the U.S. The band’s worldwide sales across the entire catalog eclipses 100 million, and among numerous accolades and honors, they have garnered 2 Grammy Awards, 5 American Music Awards, 4 MTV VMA Awards, 10 MTV Europe Music Awards and 3 World Music Awards. Selling out stadiums worldwide, they’ve headlined the largest festivals globally and also remain the first and only Western rock band to play a five-stadium tour in China. 2017’s One More Light marked their fifth No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200. In 2020, the band celebrated their groundbreaking debut album, Hybrid Theory, by releasing a comprehensive 20th anniversary edition super deluxe box set which features their RIAA Diamond-certified single “In The End.” In 2023, the band released Meteora 20th Anniversary Edition, which topped the charts and featured the newly-uncovered song “Lost.” The emotionally charged single was originally recorded during sessions for their second studio album Meteora (2003), and soon after its 2023 release, “Lost” hit No. 1 at both Alternative and Rock radio. 2024 marked the release of their first greatest hits package Papercuts, featuring vault track “Friendly Fire” that similarly topped both the Alternative and Rock charts. LINKIN PARK have always prioritized charity and goodwill in an effort to make the world a better place, helping to raise millions over the years for victims of natural disasters. Today, LINKIN PARK’s imprint on music and culture continues to expand and magnify.

  • Amazing!

I have seen many, many concerts in my day, and this was one of the BEST by far! The whole band feeds off of the crowds enthusiasm, and they were giving it their all! AMAZING show!

  • Linkin Park was unbelievable

by chiefkewj on 2014-08-31MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

Great show with 3 entertaining bands. The fact that all the lead singers from each band engaged the crowd and even went so far as going amongst the fans in the stands was incredible. Thirty Seconds To Mars turned their time into a party, and even pushed some fans to become more lively than they appeared being lazy. The energy of Linkin Park even lead to some mosh pits.

  • What a perfect night!!

    by MarsFan30 on 2014-08-30MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

Thirty Seconds to Mars was ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING!!! I had so much fun! Linkin Park was INSANE! This was my first time seeing both bands, and I would totally see them again!! <3 I loved how Jared Leto got the crowd involved! Talking to us after almost every song, cracking jokes. I fed off his energy on stage! Both bands were so appreciative of us and that really stuck out to me. It shows that they really notice whether the crowd is singing along, getting involved in the show and just having a great time! I sang my heart out when Thirty Seconds to Mars was performing! It was the BEST night of my life! I will NEVER forget it!

  • Linkin Park was incredible!

by Spudzy on 2014-08-30MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

The show from beginning to end was amazing! I only knew one song by AFI and was pleased they played it at the end of their set, I felt bad for the stagehand who had to pick up after the lead singer after every song, get the mic back, get the mic stand back up, etc. Thirty Seconds to Mars was incredible too, a great set of new and old songs, loved how he brought so many people onstage at the end. But of course Linkin Park was the best. The best part was that they sang mostly their old songs, I think they only sang four new songs from their newest album. They put on an incredible show.

  • 30 Seconds to Mars went above and beyond!

    by Tuna204 on 2014-08-30MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

  • Linkin Park was Amazing

by SaskGurl on 2014-08-30MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 3 out of 5

I found AFI and Thirty Seconds To Mars had very boring music but Thirty Seconds To Mars did an amazing job of getting the crowd hype up. Had I have known there would be four hours from the time the doors open until Linkin Park took the stage I probably would have gone a few hours later than I did. Linkin Park took the stage and did an absolutely amazing job. They alone made it worth the five hour drive I made to see the concert. I would definitely go to a Linkin Park concert again.

  • What an amazing show!

by Peldini on 2014-08-30MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

We arrived at the show for 6:00 with AFI taking the stage at 6:15. They got the crowd started and delivered a great 6 song set. Even though I was unfamiliar with their music, they still had my attention throughout and was pleasantly surprised. 30 seconds to Mars followed them about 30 mins later and really got everyone excited. Jared Leto got members of the crowd involved and made everyone feel like they were part of the show. They released huge balloons into the crowd and just made for an amazing spectacle. Their set lasted about an hour with about 9 songs and the crowd was on its feet the entire time! Linkin Park closed it off, taking stage at about 9:30. The crowd was so hyped and they kept the pedal to the medal the entire time. Their set was about 11 songs, over the span of an hour, then they came back for a 6 song encore. Definitely going to see them again!
