  • Living Colour damn fine!

by muzefan on 2013-10-21The Gateway (SAIT) - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

The guys played their entire Vivid album and another hour of great material. Played with the same high energy from start to finish and let the fans up close and personal. I am a new fan.

  • Living Colour was the best!

by Cutrate on 2013-10-21Commodore Ballroom - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Living Colour played the 25th Anniversary of Vivid at the Commodore Ballroom. Hadn't seen the band live in 20 years. Amazing set, but extremely poorly advertised show and an opening band that didn't fit the bill. 2 encores and an amazing set! Hope to see them again soon!

  • Living Colour blew minds

by MarkFly on 2013-10-21The Gateway (SAIT) - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Corey Glover sounded better than ever. Vernon Reid is the Miles Davis of the electric guitar. Doug Wimbish is the Hendrix of the bass. William Calhoun is a rhythm master. It was one of, if not the best shows I've ever witnessed.

  • Wicked and intimate...not to be missed!

by CamJam on 2013-10-21The Gateway (SAIT) - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

This show had a small audience of around 2-300 people. The band played very tight doing Vivid in its entirety aswell as some great covers. All the guys sounded awesome and we got to meet Doug and Will after the show when they came out for a meet and greet. Don't miss this one.

  • An awsome band in dive club

by netcam on 2009-10-05Lee's Palace - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The performance of Living Colour was amazing as expected. Would like to have heard more material from "Chair in the Doorway" but enjoyed their set immensely. My only complaint was the venue and the FOH sound at Lee's Palace. I hope they return to Toronto again! If they want to book in a small club again, for the love of God please chose The Mod Club over Lee's Palace!!

  • UNBELIEEEEEVABLE!

This show kicked ass. These guys are solid. Amazing musicians who get better with age (unlike most bands in the 80s).
