Louis CK, always a good time!
by summer2009 on 2009-11-11MacEwan Hall - CalgaryI was introduced to CK by a co-worker. I heard some of his best bits about deer, cinnabon and children. I was excited to sit in row three when he came to Calgary. His facial expressions alone were well worth being so close to the screams blaring out from the speakers. Despite starting a little late, I still enjoyed his show. However, he seemed to have "mellowed" a bit from the clips I have seen on You Tube etc. he didn't swear as much and I really didn't laugh very much during the hour long set. I loved the fact that he does not hold back about any subject, nothing is sacred to him. That is the mark of a true comic. In CK's words "I don't give a ......" Religion, children, race, class. Everything is fair game. A new fan of CK should see this tour, but a veteran like myself, may be a little dissapointed.
