Chopin evening versatile and elegant

The first half (the Etudes) flowed well and contained some familiar pieces. The 3rd is a special favourite. The second half was technically masterful - such versatility from both the composer and the performer! However, I was not as taken with the many short pieces. No question, however, of M. Lortie's virtuosity.
