Such a thrilling experience!! A large group of good friends, siblings & our parents rocked the night away! There was 22 of us all together and we can’t wait to do it again soon! Our only down side of the venue was no one would let us stand up and dance! 👎🏼 But overall such a fun night!!
I had my doubts about this concert given the ages of the members in these 2 bands and the fact that neither band was ever in my top choices for favourite groups in the 80’s. I was pleasingly wrong about both acts. Both bands delivered musically. They played most of their hits (and even some I had forgotten) flawlessly. We were even impressed by the vocal prowess of both singers at this stage into their careers. All in all, it was a great performance and good pairing of the acts making it a very good concert experience as well as a great night out!
Delivered as promised! All the hits and amazing solos from Matty and Spider. Don't leave early and miss the encore
LoverBoy was spectacular ! Not quite the 80's but so close, couldn't ask for better from a group of guys who have been at it for 40 years. FANTASTIC. Venue is also a favorite !
I was not sure if they would be able to deliver, seeing its been decades in the business but as with fine wine they get better with age! They slinded great, sung great ! I relived my 80s through their many hits! I was very happy to see them after all these decades!
Saw Loverboy and Trooper at Casino Rama on the weekend. Loverboy was awesome playing all their greatest hits. I wish I could say the same for Trooper. Singer should have retired, he was brutal.
It brought back great memories. Absolutely loved Loverboy concert. One of the BEST concert that we have seen so far.
a great show great lead gitaurist great keyboard player and drummer and lead singer well done I enjoyed it very much a great bass gituarist to and nice encore a great establishment and it,s full of very friendly people and very helpful seat usher,s and every body thankyou.
Loverboy put on a really good show, especially since it was their 40th anniversary. Not a big fan of the River Cree's venue but the concert itself was great!
It was so exciting to see this band perform. They are so talented and legendary. They are passionate and love their audience. I went with my sisters. We had the best time ever. Everyone around us enjoyed it too. Some danced in isle. Some dressed 80's. It was awesome. A worthwhile experience.
It was a great concert and the seats were good to.
The concert was great. They played good songs and engaged with the crowd. My only complaint would be that the band started late. We were happy with the show overall and glad we attended.
Could hardy hear and i was in row 13. It seems that they were doing a jam session instead of a concert. 35 min of solos ok but went to hear all the hits
Hello All; the concert was a great success, full house great music. I found the singing and word definition drowned out with the instrumentation, thus the rating, for a "long time" band, they were fantastic!!, also service, atmosphere and personal help from the River Cree facility was outstanding!!
Had front row tickets because of my disability, we were in front of the lead singer and couldn’t see the band had people walking on our feet ,drinks ending up on us, this was our 5 show at river Cree and finally had what we thought were the best seats in the place front row centre, never again will I spend any money at the river Cree again.
We found it was a little slow at first but then they come out rocking very hard and a lot of fun.
My expectations were too high. The sound quality was bad and the engineer kept turning up the volume to overcome the building. I almost left and hung out in the lounge just to get away. It would have to be a great deal to get me back.
Played all their hits, great show. Everything's gotta come to an end but I would've liked it to go on at least another half hour.
Really slow start to the concert. No one was dancing until the last 5 songs which were awesome. They needed to open with a hit to get the crowd going. Venue great. No conversation or story telling with audience, real disconnect
